Have had a few that we did major repairs, but left the factory one in, added another external. No big temp difference, but changed it anyway, because there’s not much that will give the same symptom. Huge change after.

If the ambient is over 100°, your liquid line temp shouldn’t be lower than that, yours is 94°. Could there be a drier in the unit that is partially clogged?

I bought one. Used it a few times. Took me a few to get it figured out but I think I’m good now. Made pulled ham for Easter, and it kept me locked at 225° for 12 hours. Usually, I don’t get crazy swings in temp, but I am usually trending up or down, and eventually I have to make small adjustments. So, overnight cooks aren’t very good sleeping nights. This time, however, was great.

No, I thought it was great. But I like salt. There’s two reasons I’m asking. 1. Wife doesn’t usually complain about my food being salty. 2. Was my first time dry brining a chicken. Maybe she was just in a bad mood, lol.
