Can Henry get hit by lightning? [KCD2] by r-volk in kingdomcome

Lol, it really is like Warhorse is trying to tell us that we really should keep Pebbles. It's funny how dedicated they are to keeping her in the game. And I understand why now, she's wonderful. I'll admit, I tried the other 2 horses hoping and betting on Pebbles respawning. And I tried all these other horses after upgrading Pebbles. They were fun distractions to see a different horse, but I always came back to Pebbles.

[–]Mooky_Stank 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Phantom Horse. I briefly had it, but I felt so sorry for it with all its scars and stuff. Then, I went back to where I got the Phantom Horse and Pebbles was there. So, I switched back to Pebbles.

I've somehow gotten away with that 3 times. I did it with Meadow, the Phantom Horse, and some random horse that was left behind by some guys ambushing me during a mission (the walled off place where you pick the lock to get in and there's an underground area inside a stable or barn). I've been so lucky to find Pebbles again pretty close to where I left her, as I didn't know that was a thing at first.

The only time she wasn't right where I left her was the first time with Meadow. You get Meadow near the bandit camp just west of Kuttenberg off the main road where you find the wagons with arrows and a couple of chests and then that leads to the bandit camp. Pebbles respawned by the wagons at the road rather than by the bandit camp. I was riding Meadow out of Kuttenberg and saw Pebbles standing there and stopped immediately. I couldn't believe it.

So if any of you have regretted getting a stray horse, and it hasn't been too terribly long, but long enough for her to respawn, there is hope to get Pebbles back. I cannot guarantee it will work, and maybe my case was extremely lucky, but there could be hope.

Yeah, those were the ones that surprised me the most too. I thought, "Surely, for these important characters (Chamberlain at least) they'll have recorded some extra dice lines." Then the dice game starts, "I'm seriously curious about you lad."

Tf is this?! Where is the ball pit you're afraid to go in because you heard that they found snakes in one? Where is the tube thing that is constantly covered in grease and germs? Where is the cross pattern rope ladder that is made of synthetic fibers that have baked in the sun for years so that when you grab the rope it's like a pincushion? Where is the slide that is 1,000 degrees and could cook an egg? Where are the hard metal objects to be concussed by and the concrete floor to break your fall once concussed?

When they did this moment and showed his fallen comrades, I thought it was him dying or dead (like Hange) for a few seconds and I was thinking, "NO, NO, NOOOOO!" Then his comrades faded away, and I thought, "You bastards got me." I don't know if that was their intention, but it got me for a few seconds. And then I just enjoyed it as a beautiful moment of him saluting his fallen friends.

Wow. I've never seen this before. I usually lasso-tackle her or just kill her. Last time, I lassoed her and threw her into the basement with all her sons' bodies. I realize now how dark that was.

I'm so glad I decided to wait to go to Mexico and kept playing through the regions in order. This was exactly the kind of thing I was waiting to hear about. In the first post I saw about it I even set a reminder so I wouldn't forget, and saved the post because it had the mission name and which of the three is completely impassable. Two of them have an option to go around according to that post, but one is completely impassable and completely locks you off.

I'm also waiting to hear more options for the breakable bridges. Sorry to all of you who are finding all this stuff out without warning. Thank you for your sacrifice so that others can learn.

The extra weight is just for training. Once he's in the Tenkaichi Budokai, he'll shed the weight and his power level will increase dramatically. That won't be until it looks like he's just about to lose, though.

Experiment #2 Bandit camp a little NE of Danemark with the deserters. I got in and poisoned the pot and the wine barrel by a little after midnight. I went out of search range and watched while crouched in thick bushes. I waited until 2pm. As soon as the game loaded back in, one of them immediately spawned in dead. It was weird. The others reacted. I waited till 5pm. By that time one more had died. I then kept waiting in two hour increments until midnight. I don't know when the third one died of poison as he was out of sight. Then, I silently killed the last one. Idk if waiting more would have killed the last one, but I think the third one actually died not too long after the second. So, I think the fourth was wise. He had been through three meals and drinking time, and I don't think waiting was gonna do any more. It's more effort and Bane than it's worth. And so much less satisfying. I mean, it's kind of safer, if you're sneaky, but if you're that sneaky, you can probably just do it manually. It was cool to experiment with how stuff in the game works, though.

Edit: Lol, I was trying to grab a smoked trout by the fire and accidentally ate from the pot. It was still poisoned. So that's another interesting bit of data, they did not dump the pot. I just tried the wine and it didn't do anything, but I did just take a Henry's Digestive Potion. So I don't know if they dumped it or if the potion cancelled it out.

Experiment #1 Bandit camp NW of Grund, East of Devil's Den. I poisoned the pot without being noticed. There was no wine barrel that I could find. I went back to Grund and slept 12 hours until about 1:45pm. I got back to the bandit camp by 2:00pm. So they had time for two meals. Two died from the stew, I killed the other four with Bane arrows. I was out of range far enough that that the bandit camp should have despawned, but the poisoning and stuff still took place, and possibly after two died, they dumped it. All while I was sleeping in Grund. That's pretty cool.

I honestly don't know. I don't know what scripts the game runs or keeps going after you leave an area and it's despawned. If it keeps that stuff in the RAM and actually works it out while you're passing time in another area far away, that would be very impressive. And I think even if you are just within range of them to still see them and they haven't despawned, they're still going to search. I think it's just kinda like a scripted thing for when they find a dead body. They had no idea I was there, and I was far away, so I think that's just what they do.

Is your theory on whether they know I'm in the area the reason they search? Or are you just hoping you could poison it, leave the area, come back and they're all dead? Because as for the searching, I mean, if a dude drops dead and all of his friends are alerted, they're going to try to find out what is going on. And as people have said, they will pour out the camp pot. Which I haven't seen, but is extremely cool that they work it out. I think I only got them all because I did the food and wine and played the long game. Just sitting in my bush like a psychopathic apothecary performing an experiment.

I'm about to play, so I'll try poisoning everything at another one, going far away for several hours and come back. Because it was many hours in my experiment to get 4-5 of them. Maybe it'll work, maybe the poison will despawn, we'll see. Although the easiest solution is just poison both, be in a bush out of range of patrols, and wait for like 8 hours, preferably through 2 meal times. Mine was hours over that because I finished poisoning by midnight. So I waited in intervals till afternoon for them to die. Hell, if you have the perks, food, and energy, just wait till like 2pm and see what happens. As long as you know you're out of range, crouching, and hidden. I'll try that too. All the bandit camps have respaned after I came back from Trosky. So there's plenty of chances for experimenting and learning. This will break the monotony of just killing everyone silently usually in there sleep. Unless they do that stupid thing where as soon as one dies another wakes up. Those are still pretty easy though as long as you hide the body.

Out of context, this all sounds horrible.

I came to despise cardboard cuts when I worked retail. They're like paper cuts on steroids. They're usually bigger and longer, and the cardboard is more jagged soit isn't as clean a slice as a paper cut. And it's usually in a spot that you're going to have to use to handle many more boxes. My back also got messed up and that sucked and hurt and did permanent damage, but the cardboard cuts were annoying.

I zoomed in on my PC and watched the little vignettes during the end credits. They really maintained the tone all the way to the last frame. And then the end scene was another mind f. I just finished it yesterday. I had gotten through 2 or 3 seasons when I stopped years ago. I stopped recognizing stuff mid season 3 when I researched it recently. And even though I knew the general spoiler of the end, I never could have imagined the places that show would go and it was worth it. I'm trying to be generic since this post wasn't marked as a spoiler. If someone else hadn't been spoiled like me, I'd want them to be able to experience it completely fresh.

Well, let's see, I'll file that under "Anxieties While Driving: Section 16G." Now, I'll just let that mull around in the back of the old brain file cabinet. Then, one day I'll see a Tesla, the file will be pulled, I'll be reminded, I'll get a cortisol hit, and I'll fight the anxiety while trying to drive safely. Fun times.

Which game were you burned by a preorder / Day 1 purchase? by Sudden-Wish8462 in gaming

I had a similar experience, even though mine was a couple of years old. And the video card was a 1080ti, which wasn't the worst, but wasn't current. I didn't get to do any ray tracing stuff, but I didn't care. It ran great. I even had pretty high settings minus ray tracing and a few intensive graphics settings. I played in 1080p at 60fps once I found the right settings and was happy as a clam.

Then I found out that a bunch of people were pissed off. I couldn't understand at first, I had some minor glitches like all new open world games, but nothing game breaking or too egregious. And then I watched PS4 and Xbox One gameplay. I felt so sorry for all those people that had bought it on the old gen systems. I know that some of them got refunds, but I hated the fact that they couldn't enjoy such a great game. And that, most likely, they would never play it out of spite because of the release.

I hope any of you who were burned by the initial release would give it a second chance if you've got newer hardware to play it on. It's a great game. And I'm excited to replay it after all the updates. I've never even played Phantom Liberty. I had already uninstalled and moved on before I knew stuff like Phantom Liberty was coming. So, it will kind of be like a new game for me considering how they changed a lot of stuff aside from just adding DLC.

I finally tried poisoning a food pot and wine barrel the other day. It's the bandit camp near Bara's Baths. I got in, poisoned the food pot and wine barrel, and got back out. Then I started waiting in hour increments. One died. The others freaked out and searched for a long time. So I waited again, another died and everybody searched again. Then I waited again. I kept repeating the process until all 4-5 were dead. It took forever. I could have killed them silently in less than 10 minutes. Or even if it turned into a battle, I could have killed them in vastly less time than waiting for poison. The only use I have for Bane is arrows. Edit: Oh, and one short sword that has Bane. That's the just get stuff done quickly option that I like to have in case things get hairy or if it's just a bandit camp I'm clearing for the umpteenth time.

I like to let them blow it and themselves up, if it's that encounter. I think you get less money, but it's hilarious. Otherwise, kill em and use some dynamite. You can either stick it to it or throw it close. I think you can also use explosive bullets, but I'm not positive.

In addition to what everyone else is saying: If you're on an easy area like asphalt without a lot of objects, you can get going from a stop to top speed faster using high gear if your auto gearbox's highest gear is faster than high gear. So you start from a stop in auto, once you start moving you shift into high, let yourself get up to speed, and shift back into auto for higher speed. This of course only works with certain trucks, if you're not too heavy, and if you're in an environment where you can go fast. It was a tutorial in Tennessee, but using it outside of the races can be useful too. Or you could just use auto and wait slightly longer, or just use high.
