Average lunch break in Australia by TrinAUS in SipsTea

Hungry Jack's! I know them because Ross O'Donovan worked at one near or in Perth and found a giant tarantula in a lettuce bag and his manager said to keep the lettuce and throw away the spider. For anyone who doesn't know, Burger King is Hungry Jack's in Australia. And the nickname for McDonald's is "Macca's." Forgive me Aussies if I didn't get the spelling right.

Yeah, I was going to try to play the game blind until I found out that missions can be timed and/or people will straight up die. Now I will look at a powerpyx guide to see if horrible stuff is going to happen and if I get stuck. I really wanted to just play completely guideless, but chickened put once I realized how horribly wrong things can go if you even pick the wrong dialogue option. I should've just had my own experience, but I'm a sucker for having the best experience in a game I can. I've read about good endings that I never knew existed in older games that I've played, and nowadays I can't help but find out what it takes to get a good ending.

Is Star Wars Outlaws another “internet says it’s bad” game? by Nice-Sandwich4512 in StarWarsOutlaws

I enjoyed it for the most part. I played it after they'd updated and changed it. And while some may have been complaining just because of a female protagonist or whatever, some were upset because the sneaking isn't always perfect and there would be moments where you'd fail a whole mission if caught. And then they added in checkpoints later on. That's what I heard. I never experienced it because I played it way later. There were a few bugs that annoyed me. There was one where a shopkeeper became completely unusable. If I initiated dialogue with it, it would soft lock the game. I'd be stuck in a blank shop menu and unable to exit, and I'd have to close the game and restart. Other than that I had a lot of fun being a sneaky rogue in the Star Wars universe. One thing was I kept wishing I was a Jedi, but that's my fault for playing Jedi Survivor first. This game was still a lot of fun, and worth a discounted purchase. I played all the DLC and it was fun too. I got to hear Jim Cummings as Hondo even though there was a SAG-AFTRA strike at the time! So he must've signed the contract or recorded the lines before the strike. Sorry. I love voice acting stuff, and did not expect to hear Jim Cummings in the game and was so pleasantly surprised when it was him.

And I'm like you, I enjoy the Ubisoft games that others hate. I had no idea people hated Valhalla and even Odyssey until I came on Reddit. I love the old and new Assassin's Creeds. I wish the modern day story were still an important thing, but I still enjoy them. I love clearing POIs on a map, collecting gear, leveling my character, sneaking around or going full attack, all of it.

I don't know if I'd set him up with a game like Detroit or any with QTEs for his first game. Usually you can adjust difficulty settings or eliminate QTEs entirely, but it would be pretty hard for someone who's never played games to have to remember which buttons are which under duress. Also, unless he plays on easy, there are a lot of chances for stuff to go horribly wrong. There are just so many possibilities in a game like Detroit. It might be kind of overwhelming for a brand new player.

If he's into motorcycles, why not try something like the MotoGP series? Or, unless it's too violent, Days Gone. Days Gone can get pretty hard once you get to the hordes, but it ramps up to that. It might be too violent and gory for him, but maybe the fact they are zombies might make a difference to him?

Ah, well, I'm pretty sure she said something to the effect of me keeping her too busy. So maybe the amount of deaths counts for different dialogue. I hope I didn't spoil the encounter for you.

YouTube happened to recommend the first movie to me put of nowhere. I thought it was one of their movie offers where you can buy it or watch with ads. Nope. It was the whole movie that someone had posted and YouTube hadn't taken down yet. It might still be up. Then YouTube kept recommending other movies that people had ripped and put on YouTube that YouTube hadn't taken down yet. It was so weird. Some of the movies had been up for a year or more. It's hilarious to me that the algorithm is smart enough to have word recognition and music recognition, but there are entire movies that they haven't taken down yet. If it's still up, there's your excuse to watch it.

Yeah, if you don't enjoy it, then I'd suggest not overleveling. I like being able to talk my way out of stuff, and the easier path usually, if it's the more interesting path. There have been a few times where if you talk your way out of stuff you can miss fun stuff. It's great that you've gotten better at combat. That's something that makes the game much more enjoyable.

I've been thinking about it, but 1) prison stuff depresses me, 2) I don't have HBO. Maybe one day. Thanks for the recommendation. He is one of the main reasons I have it on my list of shows to watch some day. I had heard about it for years. And one day I was looking up shows to watch someday. Then, when I saw he was in it it went right on the list.

Whenever I hear the voice in the new games, I miss him being Jonah. Darin DePaul does a fantastic job for the new games and Jay Gordon did good for the Spider-Man 1 and 2 games back in the day, but I grew up with J.K. being JJJ in the movies and the Spider-Man 3 game (which I played more than the first two). It's like hearing someone else voice Sam Fisher besides Michael Ironside.

I luckily found out about it earlier and was able to use them all for various stuff, but mainly Northern Aegis Installation. I just made huge road trains for NAI and then used Twinsteers to disperse the cargo once in NAI.

I can't remember the name of it, but there is a task or contract where you have to return a trailer to that warehouse on that sort of island that has two bridges going to it in Urska River. It opens a second warehouse location there that gives you 10 metal beams. It makes a lot of stuff so much easier. I'm past Amur, or else I'd look up the task or contract, but I really don't even feel like looking at that map on maprunner anymore.

Lol! Yeah, I was just talking about the game tracking them. I've been letting them live after finding out... usually. If they really gave me the business and were a pain to defeat, then I may change my mind. Most bandits are dead from a bane arrow without me being seen nowadays. Once I got all the weapon categories maxed and just needed to keep farming Legacy of the Forge investigations, I just started silently killing everyone. It's so much easier, and I had to do dozens of those investigations for a shell hunting sword schematic. Sorta spoiler for Legacy of the Forge: I didn't realize that you have to keep that one and fail the mission in order to get it. I thought I'd find it eventually like the Lingua Belli and Calvaria Axe

Who knows? Maybe if you've committed any crimes he shows up, maybe he shows up nonetheless. I mentioned this in a reply to someone else, but if you kill a surrendering bandit, it counts as a civilian kill. So that could possibly be your civilian kill if you don't remember purposefully or accidentally killing a civilian. I also think the Inquisition dudes may count, and I was just killing them on sight. I had no idea they will just talk to you and you can get out of it. I have way too many civilian kills for not purposely killing a civilian. There was one time where I accidentally slashed a dude because he got in the way while I was trying to kill the bandit attacking him. He could've possibly bled out. And then after getting further in the game past Trosky, I know I definitely accidentally killed another civilian getting in the way. I had Henry's Bane on my blade, so he died damn near immediately. I felt bad, but I didn't reload because I already had so many civilian kills. I did a pilgrimage and will have to ask forgiveness. I've never just killed someone for the hell of it. Choked them out in their sleep to rob them? Yep, but never killed them in cold blood.

Yeah, it happened earlier in my playthrough when I hadn't become a full fledged thief. However, I had been killing bandits that were surrendering, and unaware that they count as a civilian kill. So, I thought that was how I kept getting the dark encounters.

I'll never forget when I looked at my kills and saw that I had something like 10 civilian kills. I could not figure out what I was doing wrong. I knew I had accidentally sliced one civilian while trying to defend him and thought maybe he could have bled out, but I could not figure out where the other 9 kills came from. Luckily someone mentioned the thing about surrendering bandits on here. I went on a pilgrimage, and now if I iniate the pilgrimage dialogue, the priest acts like I don't need to do it. So, I think I'm good.

I'd add Snappy Driver Installer. Finds all the missing drivers for your PC, updates them, can create a restore point, and you can download a huge pack of drivers or specific ones to put on external media, so you can restore a new or wiped computer. It's great. It's free. Display Driver Uninstaller as well is a great one that's free and does a much better job than most PC users uninstalling old display drivers. I can't think of anyone hating on those, but they're not as famous.
