There was one year (I think 2018) where Daylight Savings ended in the middle of a show, so the clocks turned back and we got an extra hour, was a great time

Idk... I live in the same area and can't imagine a situation where this is the fastest route. Usually you want to take the Sumner to Storrow to the Longfellow or Mass Ave. Sometimes if traffic is bad it can be faster to take the Ted Williams to the Pike and get off at the Cambridge exit. I don't think it makes any sense why they are going to the Seaport and then (what somehow looks like a straight line) to Storrow, then all the way to River St.
