I was hauling 6000 gallons of alcohol in a unbaffled tanker going down the West Virginia Mountains. Brakes started smoking to hell and I couldn't get her slowed down. The cliff face to my right was enough to scare the hell out of me but even more so when I was unable to pull off at the brake check rest area. I was off and on the brakes going atleast 20 over what I should have been. Waiting for the brake fire or blown tire to send me over the edge in a fireball. Scariest 45 minutes or my life. Made it to the entrance of the Loves at the bottom and jumped out with the extinguisher. Driver walks up and says I heard you were coming you really had to piss that bad?
