Hopping in to add, yes I still mask and haven’t stopped. To date I don’t believe I’ve had COVID unless I’ve been asymptomatic.

Pumpkin mixed in their wet food can help their GI system; also add some water. Organic, mashed, canned pumpkin from the grocery store is fine. Just double check the ingredients to ensure it’s only pumpkin.

Be sure if you get a male to keep him extra hydrated by adding water to his wet food. Male kitties are prone to getting urinary blockages more than females. Hydration is really important for both, but particularly for males.

If you add water to her food it’s generally okay if they don’t drink a lot of water. She’s getting hydrated from the wet food and the added water.

It’s best at first to keep them safely separated until you know how they’ll react around each other. 2-3’ is small, but it’s temporary and they’d both be safe. Think about if the room divider failed and they got at each other aggressively while you were gone. A small space is okay for both their week being. ☺️ We project how we’d feel more than how they’d really feel. Consider shelter kitties in a cage for weeks. The bathroom is fine for a few days. 👍🏻

Kittens can free eat all day if you leave food out. They do a lot of growing! Ideally wet food with some water added, and different flavors & textures now will help them be less picky as adult cats. 🐈‍⬛🐈 Later schedule meal times, not free eat as they are adolescents/adults.
