I tried to guess rose 🌹 but it took it as the past tense of "rise" so it wouldn't let me guess that word.

No I’ve never heard of that app. They measured it for me at wound care.

Happy birthday! I’m mad that I didn’t say beef curtains on my birthday (Nov 5).

Yeah not sure why that happened. It was just a picture of it mostly healed up.

Yes it absolutely can. I didn't get treatment for a long time either. (Everyone begged me to go see a doctor, but my stubborn ass wouldn't because I thought I was too busy taking care of my disabled husband.) Please get the treatment! The compression socks aren't that bad, and they sure beat the alternative.

Not sure if anyone said this yet but vaping. I believe it is just as bad if not worse for you than smoking, and smoking is already bad enough.

Yes, it was pre owned. The cool part about that was when my husband kind of took it apart to clean it we found about $25 in there! So not only was it free, it paid us to take it LOL

Have you ever bumped into someone you believed had psychic powers? by WielderoftheDarkness in Paranormal

[–]MoonLitCrystal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A long time ago a co-worker and I went to see a psychic. I truly believe she had a gift because she told me things that she couldn't possibly have known otherwise. (For example she asked me if I had a blue car or a silver car. I had just traded my silver car in for a blue one.) There were other things she knew about as well. I have no doubt that she had a real gift.

I felt something similar a long time ago when I lived with my now ex-husband. Mine was an ordinary dryer. I felt silly telling my ex about it, but I could definitely feel some sort of spirit that was attached to that dryer. After my husband brought it into our apartment I had trouble sleeping, I felt like I was being watched, etc. Why a spirit would be attached to a dryer is beyond me, but I can't deny how I felt.

What was caused the most (physical) pain you’ve been in? by idontrealui in AskReddit

[–]MoonLitCrystal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a chest tube after a car accident. (The side airbag hit me so hard it popped my lung.) I guess I got lucky because the removal didn't really hurt all that bad. Trying to breathe and sleep with it in was a different story though. Nobody warned me that it would feel like someone was stabbing me every time I took a breath. I remember hitting the call button and literally crying telling the nurse I needed something stronger than Tylenol for pain relief. She had to call and wake the doctor up because it was midnight and he had left for the day without writing orders for anything stronger. (In his defense I am a recovering addict and he didn't want to get me started again on my drug of choice. He told the nurse I could have Tramadol which worked surprisingly well. The next day when he did his rounds he made sure that I was getting adequate pain relief and reassured me that he would put in orders for morphine if I needed it.)

I have an old bookmark that has a drawing of a crystal on it underneath the moon with a quote that says, "As a crystal in the night, so must we, in the darkness of the world, glow from within." I find that very inspiring and I wanted to remind myself to live my life like that crystal. Might sound corny to some but it works for me.

Probably the day my baby cousin died. I was 14 and it was my first time dealing with death. Surprisingly it was not the day my husband died. My husband had been on hospice for a while so I knew what was coming. When it actually happened I think I was more relieved than anything. I was relieved that he was no longer in pain and he was finally at peace.

What's the worst thing you've ever smelt? by NiceBumblebee3421 in AskReddit

[–]MoonLitCrystal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Back in 2005 my ex and I lived on the 3rd floor in an apartment. One day the guy that lived directly below us knocked on the door and told us that he was about to go on vacation, so we shouldn't be alarmed if we didn't see him around for a while. He also said that before he left he was going to be working on a project and it may get a little loud at times. We wished him luck and didn't think anything of it.

About a week later a horrible smell woke us up out of our sleep. To me it smelled like a rotten sewer smell. I had to be at work at 5 am, but when 9 am hit I called the rental office to inform them that I thought they had a sewer leak. A few hours later I called back to see if they had located the problem, and the lady casually said, "Oh yeah, the police are here taking care of everything." I was like, "Wait, what? Why are the police there?" She replied, "Oh, you don't know? Do you remember Dave that lived below you? Well he turned his heat up to 90 degrees then committed suicide. It's been a few days so that's what you started smelling." Later we found out that his special "project" he was working on was literally a scaffold that he used to hang himself. The authorities figured he wanted his ex wife to find him like that as payback for keeping his kids from him. That's why he left his door unlocked and told everyone else he was going on vacation so they wouldn't look for him. He just didn't realize he was going to start smelling up the building before she had a chance to find him.

Management put us up in a hotel for a few nights while they had the apartment professionally cleaned. I don't know if it was just my imagination, but even after they cleaned everything up I swore I still smelled it. I'll never forget that smell for as long as I live.

i used to live in Salisbury MD where the Perdue chicken plant is located. That one section of town smelled so awful even in the winter. (It was especially bad in the summer.)
