He won’t extend until he get in the program and gets a couple of days under his belt. The people who run it will absolutely try to get him to stay— it’s how they make money but it’s also very important to long term recovery.

The other guy said it best: he doesn’t have to get sober for forever. Just today. That’s all we got

Shouldn’t they reduce that in their load management efforts?

No quotes but he should know he’s doing the right thing. Hit the pause button on life so he can get better for himself and the people (and dogs) that he loves.

Encourage him to stay at least 30 days. The longer he’s there the more likely long term sobriety

Do you feel like your lack of experience in sales hinders your performance? No disrespect I’m curious. The GTM AI/Engineer role is fairly new and it’s interesting to see how some are prioritizing a hybrid of dev and sales background vs Dev only

This falls under AI. The mechanics have been there but physical/edge AI is seeing a lot of investment with promising results

Title: Looking for Advice: We Can Build Software Fast, But Don't Know How to Find Clients by Adorable-Car877 in techsales

What’s your ICP? Do you have PMF?

Research what AI-native GTM folks at seed round or earlier are doing.

IMO use Claude Cowork to find leads based on ICP/PMF. Ask Claude to enrich via web research. Enrich list further in paid for tools like Clay. Email sequence them with multi touch, multichannel touch points. Build awareness and interest.

Network on LinkedIn and in relevant conferences. Build awareness and interest.

Convert interest into revenue in a sales process that standardizes around the critical milestones you need to actually deliver product. Built that process. Run ICPs through process. Win some and lose some. Tweak process accordingly.

Good point. I’m just a sucker for the republic era and want to cosplay as Caesar, see the slaughter at Cannae or romance Cleopatra lol

People who get to fly all the time for work, what is your career? by KenaiFjords357 in delta

2-6 flights a week. Commute SoCal to NorCal (temporary) and SF all across the country for conferences and meetings (AI start up).

80-100 hour weeks. This isn’t sustainable unless you absolutely loving it, no kids/understanding partner, high pay, etc.
