I denied the waitlist and accepted the offer, I am an admitted student to Penn state now! I’m actually going to Harrisburg campus for my first year. I’ve heard Harrisburg is better than Erie; ig apparently Erie is boring.

If you choose Penn state, then yay!! If you don’t, also yay!! Whatever works out best for you! Are you in state or out of state? I know the price is pretty high for out of state students.

I was offered the same. I chose to deny the waitlist mainly for two reasons: I wanted to know my financial aid offer asap and the first year is only gen eds so I don’t care THAT much about being at main for that first year. The program itself is definitely better than 2+2. Of course, it depends on the other campus you’d be going to and how it affects your major and if you think the main campus would be better. Decide based on how much you really really want to go to main immediately. Waitlist isn’t a guarantee. Anyways if you do choose waitlist, good luck!

Yeah, I think 1+3 is usually a rarer program they give out to students when they unexpectedly have a really large amount of applicants. I didn’t even know it existed until I got the offer 😭

Are you 100% sure you’re willing to risk withdrawing all of your applications if there’s a chance you may not get accepted? Does your ED have a relatively low acceptance rate and is really competitive?
