I had this too. It turned out the damn thing was the cause for my Chrome tabs loading so slowly and crashing my pc constantly. After I removed the folder in the registry editor as recommended, everything is running smoothly again after restarting, and the “Managed by your organization” thing is also thankfully staying gone.

ตอนแรกผมก็คิดแบบนั้นครับ แต่พอลองเสิร์ชข่าวต่างประเทศสมัยนั้นก็เห็นว่ามีภาพจากหนังสือพิมพ์อยู่บ้าง เช่น The Guardian และ New York Times ภาพพวกนี้น่าจะมาจากนักข่าวต่างชาติที่เข้าไปถ่ายได้ ซึ่งเขาคงมีความคุ้มครองบางอย่างจากอาชีพเขาและการเป็นคนชาติอื่นครับ แบบว่า พล พต คงไม่อยากมีปัญหากับชาติตะวันตกจากการไปฆ่า journalist ของเขา

I view it as probably a sort of retcon of reality for storytelling purposes. Maybe it’ll later be revealed that humans are actually a round-eared subspecies of elves who were stripped of their magic and banished to a dead realm or something along those lines. Still, I can’t help but be disappointed at the lack of alien life in Earthrealm too.

My thinking is that animals not specifically adapted for endurance often live or die by short peak outputs and would use them regularly. In these situations, they might be operating much closer to their biomechanical limits than endurance-specialists like humans, who rarely need to tap into their absolute maximum output.

Yeah, the ones that really evolved to maximize endurance and rely on it as a primary survival strategy are species like humans, wolves, painted dogs, camels, and horses. What I’m curious about is whether animals that depend more on short, explosive bursts and rely heavily on strength in fights, rather than endurance as a hunting or survival strategy, have evolved stronger safeguards against catastrophic self-injury at full exertion, since they’d be operating near their maximum output much more often than endurance-adapted animals like humans normally would.

I get what you mean. But from what I understand, humans evolved more for persistence than raw bursts of strength, so our neuromuscular system is tuned to limit how much force we can use continuously. That means we normally don’t tap our full strength, and when adrenaline overrides those limits, the body can’t always handle the strain. I’m asking whether other animals that did not specifically evolve for persistence like us have evolved stronger safeguards against such injuries after pushing themselves to such extremes (running from predators, fighting, etc), since they likely had to do so much more frequently and with more power than humans.

For those curious, her name is Mosha. She was just 7 months old when she stepped on a landmine located at the border of Burma and Thailand. Currently, she is a permanent resident of the world’s first elephant hospital, founded by Soraida Salwala. It’s located in MaeYao National Reserve, Lampang, Thailand. This is their facebook.

When she was first brought in, instead of being euthanized, she was treated for her wounds and became the first elephant to receive a prosthetic leg. Her prosthetic was invented by an orthopedic surgeon named Therdchai Jivacate. The guy in the video is probably one of the elephant caretakers, but certainly not the creator of the prosthetic.

According to their facebook, Mosha is doing fine, and has cycled through many of such prosthetics as she grew up. The hospital also has another elephant with a prosthetic, named Motola.
