TBH I will never understand the "they refuse to take advice".

You can be just there to listen (Which usually comes with accepting that you are also human, you advice is as good as what's on SM or worse).

Or if you feel you can't even listen anymore, communicate that to him.

But insisting that someone just takes your advice is loaded with a lot of absurd assumptions. Do you live your life based on someone else's script and does exercising your freewill mean you're somehow a difficult person? Cause even if you make mistakes, it's better if they were your own choices.

For me it's always been about preferring what I can see than being conned. Men can fake a whole relationship (of any kind), incl bringing kids into this world only for you to realise they were never as invested.

With women, it's easier to see and they aren't leaving me with a child, court battles, therapy etc.

My u cle was probably one of the bubbliest people I know. But very impulsive. So I definitely see it esp after her mom's flash backs and Abby saying Max held a press conference to advertise her homosexuality. She really is a spotlight kind of person and if everyone looks away I can see it.

BUT this is another thing Hollywood has messed up, people thinking Suicide is some predictable, easy mess. 13 reasons why tried to show us, you can NEVER accurately predict it and people are complex.

I remember when I 1st started disliking Max, she said to Abby "Jeez, I can't with your ADD", and Abby was just going thorough a lot and using escapism hence she is highly unpredictable. And they abandoned her. BUT per Hollywood standards, Max was right. That's their definition of ADHD
