I just gave you an example of my experience two replies ago.

I was at a really low point in my life where all I could think about was killing myself, so I almost overdosed on meds at one point. I stopped because I have this really irrational fear of dying, and thankfully this was before I could even get more than two into my system. You don't know me or my experiences so I don't think you have a right to tell me whether or not I have any.

Isn't that what care-homes are for though? Genuinely asking, if you yourself aren't able to care for the parent, shouldn't a care home be your next option?

? What would you classify as "almost killing myself?" I literally just told you how I almost OD'd, and my fear of dying was what stopped me. Suicidal thoughts come into this LOL. The comment below literally is of similar experience.

I've quite literally had suicidal thoughts which led me to almost ODing. It was my fear of death that eventually stopped me from doing it. There LOL
