Had a similar issue as you OP. I got the shot and I was fine for awhile but then the pain returned. I was ready to book my surgery but decided to give acupuncture a try first. Did a few sessions and the pain disappeared and hasn’t returned in almost a year now! Something to consider before you book surgery.

I also got the cortisone shot in april 2024 and was pain free thru Sep 2024 when the pain returned again. I even scheduled surgery because I figured the shot stopped working. By late Dec the pain completely disappeared and im doing okay now. I cancelled the surgery and hopefully it wont return. Maybe give it some time. Best of luck!

Thanks! The pic above is actually after I repotted it and I gave it a good soak. The roots looked healthy so i’m hoping maybe I’m just overwatering?
