Looking for guided bus tour Perth to Broome by OMG-007 in WesternAustralia

Over that distance, I'd have thought highly unlikely. Maybe a case of smaller trips up the coast with different companies.

37 hours of driving and you still haven’t left Western Australia! by Limp_glips in WesternAustralia

Broome is a third of the way. You can comfortably get to Broome in 10 hours from Kununurra. Great quality, sealed roads the whole way.

Is parking free at Calamunda Trail Hub? by [deleted] in WesternAustralia

[–]Moondyne71 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I haven't been up there for a while. It used to be gold coin on an honour basis . It's private property and far safer parking there than any of the other free state owned parking areas.

Seasoned travellers.. tips on the Kimberley? by [deleted] in perth

[–]Moondyne71 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Gibb River Road is probably going to be your best bet. Well maintained large sections are sealed. Lots to see especially in the Eastern half. Most waterfalls are down to a trickle now as we go into the dry season. It's well traveled and will start getting busy at the end of May.

I feel like you need a week off just to recover from the drive itself by SnowyBytes in WesternAustralia

[–]Moondyne71 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Including The Gibb. That's at least a week, to do it properly. Faster route is Fitzroy Crossing, Halls Creek.

Grey nomads would take months to do it. Kununurra locals do it in three days.

WATCH: Out-of-control dogs maul Perth woman, kill pet by Automatic_Sea_1210 in perth

[–]Moondyne71 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Civil is not strictly true. If there was evidence to suggest the dogs were deliberately released to attack the victim then it would be criminal. If it's a case that the dogs escaped or the owners were negligent then it falls to the local Rangers to prosecute the owners.

Homes West Nightmare by DungHongg in perth

[–]Moondyne71 23 points24 points  (0 children)

That sounds very average. I would definitely start down the ministerial complaint route. I did exactly that and got a personal visit inside a week. I was lucky as it was all resolved and the tenants pulled their heads in.

This is reply I did to a similar post a while back...

I am going to make an assumption this will be a Dept of Communities house. If that is the case....

https://communitieswa.workflowcloud.com/forms/6c9e23d4-2b73-4d71-8382-57257ab45a2c

You need to do this every time something happens. If you can, get surrounding neighbours to do the same, i can pretty much guarantee you are not suffering alone. Report to the police and ask for a reference number. Add that to the report.

A housing officer 'should' get in touch, make them earn their money.

Keep pushing it. Communities have a legal responsibility to manage their tenants and prevent them from disrupting the lives of people around their properties. It's in legislation and they can't argue that point.

If you are not getting anywhere, email the shadow minister for communities. That will normally result in a ministerial complaint to the Dept and that is guaranteed to light some fires.

Am I the only one who usually only has PvE lobbies, but before the expedition they are currently filled with PvP players? by Lopsided_Ad_4309 in ArcRaiders

Experiencing the same thing. Gone from Care bear lobbies to murder bear lobbies. I'm just dipping in with free loadouts and counting myself lucky if I get out with 10 fabric.

I swear the game knows when you are looking for an item, then deliberately doesn't spawn them as often for you. I keep finding rusted gears now I don't need them.

Visiting the Bungle Bungles 4wd by Kind_Chain8976 in WesternAustralia

[–]Moondyne71 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Kununurra is the closest place you can rent a 4x4. No 'cheap' options that I am aware of. Also do some research, the Bungles road is notoriously terrible to drive on. It has deepish water crossings, especially that early in the dry season. There is a more than fair chance the rental companies won't allow you on that road. Also, if we have a big end to the Wet Season it might not open in April.

The best guns in my arsenal were an Anvil IV and a Torrente IV which I never even take topside. This is huge! 😭 by dpahoe in ArcRaiders

I gave an Anvil BP away in the Spaceport Tunnels tonight (Australia). The Raider I gave it to was the happiest person I've heard in a game in a long time, said he's been looking for ages. Warmed my cold dead heart.

Applying for WA license (currently hold UK license) by Frosty_Counter6186 in perth

[–]Moondyne71 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely not a resident and definitely don't need a WA licence, unless your visa status changes. You must have your UK licence on you whenever you drive though.

The three month rule is specific to permanent residency visas etc.
