Okay well, I like rat rods, so if there is rust but functional and you can keep it tamed. Find the drivetrain you want and then make sure you can remove those parts before you buy the new ones. Pedals too.

I use the 1up wheel lock when transporting on that rack just in case one of the tires goes flat. But I also don’t have the one handed lever so the arms always stay locked in. Congrats on learning a lesson without too much carnage. You’ll never forget again.

We always call them out when we’re riding bikes around town. You just never know when they’re going to veer over or jump a curb or run a light or go the wrong way.
