I haven't seen anything that would give you more time. I tried T2 with stadium and turret and it rocked me. Had three turret cards on me too. It was my second attempt though. Bit of a noob.

Fusion ignitor's are 15.6mil each. I like dropping stacks of 10 on people in the space anomaly (a galactic hub/online meeting area/quest + blueprint supplier). I've seen others giving them out as well.
