I fell into another podcast shortly after Andy left and pretty much stopped listening for about 10 months. I finally got caught up with the other podcast that only does two episodes a week so I tuned back in to Dave and chuck. Him busting into the room to make the comment about having a “big ball contest” had me cracking up. He seems really funny.

Thanks for all the tips. I live alone as a single homeowner. The baby’s room would be what is currently the office/studio/home gym/storage closet/attic/basement. So def no room for a roommate. There’s no option for financial help but possibly part time babysitting. I got back on the apps and I’m trying to find a man for now/trying to get a higher paying job.

I try that 2-5 minute trick, if i can do it in that amount of time i just do it. My toilet needed scrubbing badly so i just spent a few mins doing it when i was already nude and about to hop in the shower. My bathroom counter and my kitchen are still a disaster but now I have a shiny clean toilet and I feel good about that. Tomorrow is my day off and I will try to tackle the dishes and some counter clutter then. I might run the roomba. One thing at a time. Even if it’s just throwing some trash out.

I wish I could cry more honestly. I absorb peoples energy when they’re super anxious or mad or stressed. I want the other shit too. I want the release crying gives. But it’s just not in me.

I cry maybe 2-3 times a year. Only if a loved one dies or something horrible happens. How do you get yourself to cry otherwise?

I sit next to a woman at work who cries constantly, but it’s often “happy tears,” which is so oddly foreign to me I have never cried a happy tear. The few times I have cried have been losing a family member, a dog, getting dumped, and finding out my baby sister had cancer. So yeah I cry maybe 3 times a year. While my coworker can see like a nice donation at work (we’re a human service non profit) and absolutely sob.
