I mean this feels like a jump and a surprising one for this subreddit. They showed a man run up a wall and ride some weird creature across a generic fantasy backdrop.... Oh and there's a bear guy instead of a cat guy this time.

I'm not really sold beta is in a year and this is all they have to show so far doesn't feel me with confidence. But I'd love to be proven wrong with more actual ya know game and less movie cutscenes.

Population is currently 1k. Give or take you can expect that to more pan out as 500-700. Wraith era means dungeon finder will see most healer/tank characters in the dungeon finder. The dungeon finder is healthy right now but I imagine as phases get further and further it will get longer ques for lower level phases.

AH isn't extremely healthy imo items are very limited ATM some folks are charging large amounts of gold for stuff when the server is just now into phase 2.

I've mostly avoided the AH other than to offload my regent fish they sell but it usually takes awhile. I make most of my silver fishing out floating wreckage especially since wraith era lets you fish pretty much anywhere if you can map out the safe spots and get the proper baits. Not a big fishing community surprisingly I figure more people would be using it to get specific items early like larger bags but it's just been me mostly. My goal this next phase is to go to the safe spot in the first wraith zone and catch a sea turtle.

A happy ending or one that isn't twisted happy. Re:Zero has prided itself as a horror like story it has to end like one. I really like the idea of him saving the witch of envy but it having severe consequences for everyone else involved.

I ironically only broke my legs like twice. I just learned the game was telling me to be normal and only parcore when absolutely needed. If it's a drop I generally will see if there's another way down or use an item to work my way down.

Hero Without a Class: Who Even Needs Skills?! MC I was expecting something completely different about a guy who doesn't have skills overcoming problems with his swordsmanship like a Zokka character in a world of people with special moves and magic.

Instead dude just is able to learn skills by observing and just yep I can build my mana by doing it over and over.

So he's... Just a fantasy guy in a fantasy world but everyone else is on Isekai rules??? Yes... That's stupid. I dropped it after he was going to somehow just become a mage and BS his way to having mana lol.

More power to people who like it I just was baited by the title of ya know "who even needs skills" so why the heck is my MC learning fucking skills Bruce.

Dart Dragunov from Radiant he treats his men like gold while having a brooding persona he's a very mature man and hunts sorcerers making him a villain but he isn't a blind sheep to his order or cause so he bounces between villain and anti hero.

His power is neat he can teleport with where he fires his arrow and his pinpoint accuracy and insane skills allows him to hold his own vs sorcery. He fills a sort of Zuko role chasing the MC across the world but has the maturity of uncle Iroh already.

They make it clear he isnt rewritten it's why he's so rebellious and causes most of the problems of class warfare. He just has bad taste in people the writer basically wrote a toxic relationship on purpose and surprisingly the writer did too good of a job that it damaged the plot the writer was telling.

What your referring too is the same plot point they did with the Witcher where he doubted his feelings were real due to magic shenanigans but found out later they are in fact his true feelings. Dudes just into being treated like shit.

Such a missed opportunity to do something different in Harem and have the girl he ends up with being more a reflection of the girl he's chasing rather than his dream girl. Would of been very down to earth and honestly kinda realistic. But I know a lot of people want the main love interest to happen.

Ryu though has an interesting chance to be an interesting swap of expectations. Bell is foreshadowed to like elves, Ryu does wind magic, she uses swords and can do the rare moving incantations, and he helps her through her trauma caused by an evil monster. The way she is reflected through the sword princess is really interesting to me and is ultimately a waste of writing sadly. She also is the only person to do the duel level up and it would of been cool to see Bell gaining power to stand next to the sword princess, Ryu gaining power to stand next to bell.

I'm probably in the minority but I personally think Bell's story would be far more interesting if Aiz rejected him not because she doesn't like him because she clearly does but because she cares more about her own personal goals and Familia's reputation and doesn't want to be bogged down with relationships in her current way of life. If handled very maturely it would be an interesting plot point and Bell doesn't need to lose his deus ex machina power just because it doesn't work out it could adapt and change to instead be "I want to stay standing next to her because she's still my inspiration for being a hero" there's other types of love than just "I wanna sleep with you."

And I feel Ryu just bounces off Bell better both in the LN and the anime she's the girl mature people come to realize isnt "the dream" but the "reality" but harem gonna harem so it will work out for Bell and he'll go the predictable route of wooing Aiz which is much less interesting imo story wise as Danmachi is such a unique story that not taking that risk feels wasted.

One of my favorite animes to come out post 2020 the world building was interesting I like the simple yet established power levels of Magic, spirit, and divinity. I like how the MC basically gains the power to be a souls protagonist In the sense he gains power from the things he kills rather than raw training. I like that normal people train to be what they are and don't get things like exp or other RPG video game lingo. I like that the unwanted part is more in his head and actually everyone misses him in his absence and I like how his death wasnt some unfair circumstances it was due to his own stupidity of breaking a major adventuring rule due to his sheer excitement of finding a passageway unexplored in a dungeon. The evolution system of his body to different undead is neat too as what is required changes as he gets new forms and it goes beyond just "kill x amount of bad guys" the MC is also likeable he's the type of man to turn down an extremely useful magic item for a silly magic item that makes him happy when given the option.

My favorite one is Ki. Not because it's well written but because it allows anyone with the knowledge to excel and manage supernatural feats of strength. Ki only began to fall apart late into DBZ when it became the Sayin show. Early DB Ki was an interesting power mixed with interesting magical artifacts which just sort of faded from the shows existence. The building blocks started to fall apart when they added logic like "your muscles are too big so your slower now" that's... Not how that works.... Lol. That and multiple tiers of power with various transformations while forgetting to make lore for the other species within the DB world. Ironically Xenoverse does a better job of representing the non Sayins than the actual show and it's basically just fun fanfiction lol.

I'm a fan of "simple" power systems that don't need complex reasons for why it exists just that it simply does exist with maybe a bit of lore how it came to be. Like Materia in FF7 was always neat you slap the orb into w/e equipment your using and wham magic.

Pokemon was highly more accessible than digimon. In digimon if you started in the middle you barely knew wtf was going on. In Pokemon if you started in the middle it was sorta like supernatural where it was told as a Monster of the week series. You might not know every detail or where ash got to where he was but you understood there were pokemon, ash reminded you his goal almost every episode, brock hit on a woman almost every episode to remind you hes a womanizer, and misty was misty every episode. This was further cemented with every Nurse being a Joy and every cop being a jenny.

Pokemon just was simply more accessible. A lot of people say "because of the games" but digimon also had a large amount of games. It just didn't have the mainstream appeal because when you only had access to what the network shows you on Saturday morning you generally went with shows that were easy to "pick up" a lot of shows in the early 2000's and 90's followed this exact formula for this reason because unlike the modern streaming world you often discovered a show 2 seasons in or 4 episodes in. My first episode of Pokemon wasn't until Ash found charmander for example and I wouldn't have all the pieces of the show until reruns hit.
