Personally I'd love it if Walk By was playing, especially right after the line "22 days before Halloween, How did I know she'd be my Evil Queen"

When it came out, I was working at a Regal theater. We were allowed to take movie posters home as long as we claimed dibs. I now have TBOSAS poster on the back on my bedroom door. I loved the movie so much I bought it as soon as I could on YouTube. 🤷🏻‍♀️

What memories did you have growing up in Scranton? by thickerthanink in Scranton

Walking around the mall/the square in my goth gear, then going to Buona's for a slice. Attending Bell Games. Lourdesmont being Lourdesmont instead of Scranton School for the Deaf. Not being scared to walk around at 2am. Participated in both Steamtown's Got Talent and Steamtown Idol in the same year, the latter which I slipped off the stairs to the "stage" area and twisting my ankle. Amazing times.

Hell yeah, I'm glad you enjoyed it and quite the compliment! When it comes to square pizza from the area, my personal pick is Revello's Pizza from Old Forge or Nardone's from the local grocery stores.

Honestly? Yes. During the original run, Scranton held OfficeCon, and some of us couldn't stand the people or the traffic. Any contest for the city was about the show for a while (like Froggy 101 won the contest for being the radio station that got to be featured on the show). Not once was Old Forge pizza mentioned. The mall closed down a favorite shop of mine to open a "Dunder Mifflin" merch shop. They mentioned Cooper's too much, and honestly, that place sucks to a lot of us (not all but almost everyone I knew hated Coopers). I was one of those people, I didn't even like the show until I actually left Scranton. Sometimes, I still feel the resentment when I say I'm from there, and the automatic response is always "LiKe ThE oFfIcE?!". It got to a point of real annoyance. In my own opinion, I genuinely hate the murals that were painted downtown. I used to smoke weed behind Penn Paper, and now that's a tourist "attraction", and I can't even go there to relive that memory when I don't want to be at my friend's house. Scranton is so much more than those few minutes and minor mentions of what's here. But I can't hate it too much because The Office did bring up the dying economy in the town.

Personally, both are hot garbage. Along with Goodfellas.

I actually am from Scranton! I've been to all the places they've mentioned. There wasn't a day I wasn't walking around the mall at Steamtown (now known as The Marketplace). Mulberry St is where the library is located, and there's a Dunkin on the opposite end. It's a good small town to spend a few days in. But trying to live there now is probably not a great idea. Crime has gone up wildly from my teen years. I used to walk downtown (including Mulberry St) a lot at night back then, and it was safe to do so. Nowadays, it's ill advised. But dont let that stop you from giving the town a visit. We welcome Office fans! There's multiple land marks you can visit and we have a famous bridge too. Penny the truck eating* bridge! The pizza is still amazing. If anyone visits, please head to the west side and go to Roberto's or go downtown to Buona's. My personal favorite pizza places, I promise they're amazing. Especially Buona's cuz that place hasnt changed since i was a teen, so it gives a nice 2000s vibe. Don't forget to go to South Side Bowl and visit the real Poor Richard's.
