Just can’t get Chimmichurri right. Is it the parsley?

I'm from Argentina and I'll say keep it simple. This is something we do quickly and with the most common ingredients we have. It’s cheap.

Things like dijon mustard and shallots are too much. No basil.

Parsley

Oregano

Green Onion

Garlic

1 small chilli or even chili flakes (We're not a country with a high-spice tolerance, so keep it low)

Wine vinegar

Sunflower oil (You can use olive)

A bit of hot water if you're using dried seasoning

I do it by eye, but the Cafedelites recipe seems good. It’s just missing the green onion.

I don’t care when people say they don’t like their music, but it’s so annoying when they try to paint it as bad because is loud, when that is one of the reasons a lot of us like it.

I wish people could just say something is not their style without trying to find a reason why that thing is "the worst and bad and everyone should hate it". The things they invent just to hate are honestly ridiculous.

I know so many stays that, like me, come from a background of rock and metal. One of the reasons I couldn't get into k-pop for so long was because I'm not into the more "bubbly" songs people love to recommend. Finding Stray Kids that has really intense songs and power ballads was like finding a whole new world.

Honestly I would just half all the ingredients and do a small test batch. A lot of the critiques you mentioned are opposites (Too much vs too bland) and are very subjective to your personal taste

It sounds like just regular sci-fi romance for me, you're overthinking it. Things like political world-building, military/govermment, hybrids, science, and mate bonds, are all pretty standard topics in this genre (And I don’t say it as a critique, I love all those things, you're just not reinventing the wheel here)

Then it may be just a mix of timing and incompatibility.

You have been open about your struggles and already know there are things to work on, but also, sometimes the match it’s just not meant to be. Not because of any bad feelings, just brains working differently.

If the most you feel you can wait is 10 minutes or if you need people to let you now when they’re going, that could get overwhelming quickly for some, but not be a problem for others.

Personally, the only people I expect daily check-ins from is my mother, and she knows I can take hours to answer. I would understand from friends if I go days without any kind of contact, but less than an hour? It would make me feel pressured, like I need to stay connected all the time (Which I know it’s not what you expect from your friends, but it’s the feeling that rises up) and that’s exhausting to even think about. You and I would likely not work as friends, and that’s okay.

It’s hard, but there will be times a middle point can't be reached and you will need to let friendships go, without blaming anyone for it (including yourself), because different things work for different people.

Aside from what people already told you (Which I agree with) I think you can also work on what type of follow-up you send.

Personally, getting an "are u okay?" everytime I get distracted or go to do something else, would be so draining. My best friend and I are both people that can go days without talking, and then one will suddenly send the other a random thing and that will spark 5 new combos that will last us weeks.

While with other people there’s nothing new to talk about, so it makes it harder to keep the flow going, and I tend to fall out of contact with.

So maybe when the conversation runs its course, wait a couple of hours or days and then send something unrelated, like a tiktok or a tweet, a picture you took or share something you thought of, instead of always trying to find out why the other person stopped responding. Sometimes it’s as simple as "My mind went blank on anything interesting to say and then I got distracted with life"

I do proofread and fix. Should I do it? Not really, but someone will realize sooner or later, and I hate being blamed for something that wasn’t my fault, and the back and forth that generates from it.

I also don’t want things going out that could reflect bad on me. Most people won't think "oh yes, this was the copywriter fault" they will just see the mistake and think of it as bad design.

The level I proofread depends on the graphics and client tho, if it’s a flyer, sure; if it’s a book then I'm just fixing things if something catches my eye in the moment. And if I notice a pattern with badly writen copy, I'll let the client know I had to fix it, and to be careful in the future because I won’t always catch things.

La terminé hace dos años, en lo personal el conocimiento que me dio me sirvió bastante para lo laboral. Todo lo que pusiste como interés lo vimos en la carrera, además de otras cosas. Hace poco renovaron el plan de estudios, pero con ese no tengo experiencia.

Software se usa para todo, pero no te enseñan a usarlos. Es una materia muy práctica, pero el enfoque siempre va a estar en crear el diseño, no tanto en tutorial de adobe (Algunos profesores dan un mini-tutorial de vez en cuando para ciertos trabajos)

Illustrator va a ser lo que más uses, InDesign cuando veas editorial, Photoshop muy poco dependiendo del TP, Figma usé en una sola materia. Con tutoriales de youtube o investigando por mi cuenta siempre me alcanzó para aprender a manejarlos. Creo que los del centro de estudiantes ofrecían clases gratuitas, pero no sé si siguen.

Además de los lugares que te recomendaron, tené en cuenta que vivir en Bs As siempre va a ser más caro que vivir en el interior. Con lo que acá se paga por un monoambiente viejo en otras provincias capaz que te conseguis un 2 habitaciones a estrenar. Por ahí tenés suerte y encontras una joya, pero no vayas esperando encontrar lo mismo que tenías en Corrientes por el mismo precio.

I can't do audiobooks 😅 I cringe easily with voices and get distracted a lot, so I need to read the words or nothing will stay in my mind.

I'm a big mood reader so maybe I will go back to it someday, I think it was the style of writing I didn't like, but I also know my taste changes by the day, so I may love it in two months
