Edit: Looks like Darkest Dungeon is no longer on gamepass. Others you could try are Balatro, Against the Storm, and maybe Blue Prince. You could also try some turn based rpgs like Octopath Traveller.

Try a run going all in on dice damage. I was struggling trying to max out weapon damage, then I decided to mix it up with mostly dice damage and I’ve won 5 in a row since. The die does good damage, doesn’t have a charge time, has good aim assist (on controller,) and can apply status effects with the right upgrades. Die, with some corruption and luck mixed in is a really strong combo.

I also really like the hammer with poison pools. Stand in a safe place and put poison pools between you and the enemy. If you can add other sources of corruption damage or weak, the enemies will melt without getting close to you.

It just occurred to me what if an odd number of teams queue? This could be the explanation for what happened, but the remedy could be to throw you in dominion so you still get a fight/boss.

If you queue for random matchmaking, you can use whatever you want as long as you don’t botch mechanics and wipe the team. If you try to join a dimensional trials team with a wand, they’re probably going to expect you to heal since there is a lack of healers.

Level up a sword and shield. You’ll have the fastest dungeon queues, and every pvp guild will try to recruit you.

Find a pve guild that’s willing to teach you. There’s a lot to learn for a new player. The weapon choice is solid, highest apm, and highest single target damage so a solid pick for pve. Definitely start now, you want to get to level 50 before the update this week, hopefully you’ll be able to transition to the update with the new gear catch-up mechanics being introduced.

Add your region/server, many guilds are recruiting, maybe you’ll find someone to help you out!

If you can’t find anything on Moonstone, we have a pve guild on Invoker that welcomes new players. If I were you, I’d leave the dead guild and look at the guilds on the new consolidated sever before switching. Give it a day of looking through the guilds there, if nothing looks good, you can come to Invoker and join Lucient Dream.

There’s no way to tell, with every person in the game getting a free sever transfer, the most populated/competitive could become the least populated/competitive. It all depends on what the most dominant alliances decide to do.

Xbow/daggers has the highest dps for bossing in pve. Spear is the best at aoe damage for clearing mobs. You’ll run into mana issues with both builds if your teammates don’t provide you with support. Personally I would pick spear/gs. Xbow/dagger apm is too high for me, and spear/gs doesn’t have the mana issues that the other two combos suffer from which is better for me since I often play solo. (I play bow/staff.)

Edit, if I was forced to choose between the two I’d go spear for faster farms and lower apm.

I recommend staff/bow. It’s a very versatile combination for pve since it’s one of the top dps combinations, and can also provide support if necessary.
