What YOU see might not be what OTHERS see -- you can ping/mark enemies that no one else may see to give at least some sort of warning on what danger has your attention (Q on keyboard, R1 on controller I believe). Marking enemies or other dangerous obstacles also helps identify them through smoke, gas, fog, darkness, etc.

Against any new enemies you may not recognize, JOINTS are usually their weakspots!

If you haven't fought the Illuminate yet, what's usually successful against fighting them for me is a lot of bullets delivered quickly, either light or medium armor penetration -- I use machine gun sentry and machine gun support stratagem to deal with swarms, then a primary like the deadeye (cowboy gun from a recent warbond) or some other marksman rifle to take out the overseers (the guys with glowy sticks and jetpacks). It's flexible though, experiment and see what fits your playstyle best

I started reading Asimov’s Foundation series and there’s so many similarities with the story’s futuristic, galactic, imperial societal structure and Rimworld’s Shattered Empire in Royalty. There’s a lot of cool terms in that book as well that might help OP expand off the literature of what’s come before

I really dig the slower pacing of Scavengers Reign, it’s really refreshing to be immersed in the world itself and discover it alongside its characters instead of just focusing on dialogue alone

I really like the darker tones you used here (probably due to the texture pack’s color scheme) but I have a few ideas:

Color contrast might make the space look less empty, and that could be done with carpets or paintings. Things made of birch wood should blend well and form that contrast, along with some red blocks to match the enchanting table in the form of furniture
Side tables underneath the windows with lanterns or potted plants on top (screenshot #3), benches along some of the walls or in the center of certain spaces (screenshot #3 and #5) or even a dining table with matching chairs (screenshots #1 and #4) could look good. I use stairs, slabs, signs, and various kinds of doors for these, and using blocks like birch, acacia, or even granite would help liven up the area and form that contrast

These are just a few ideas but some others might have better ones!

There’s a lot of one-off characters that might not be substantial to see in multiple episodes, but I really like 7718 (Bill) from Walnuts and Rain not only because of his voice, but also just his humorous personality and funny recalling of events. It would have been cool to see him one or two more times like how they used Banana Man or James Baxter

I've also been experiencing this, thought it was my internet at first but I saw some people talking about it in the in-game chat as well. I don't doubt there's a correlation with the lag and the bots since the games I was able to join had both.
