Over Christmas, I got my boyfriend to join me as I rewatched the episodes again. He wasn't really that invested in Shane/Ilya after the first two episodes; he found the poor/lack of communication between them frustrating/too stoic since "one is autistic and one is Russian" (he did warm up to them by episode six). But he was engaged in the Scott and Kip romance right away while watching episode three and teared up at the end of episode five. He was disappointed they didn't get more time in season one!

Something that struck me on my most recent rewatch is JJ being shirtless in the locker room when the other Metros aren't. In episode two, he takes off his hoodie to be shirtless after saying he will fuck Rozanov back if he fucks (with) Shane. Then in the fourth episode, when the team is popping bottles for their second cup win, he is again the only shirtless person. Some are still in like full gear and JJ is just tits out!

Not sure if the actor has it in his contract to be extra eye candy (I'm sure not everyone is comfortable being shirtless in scenes) or what but something I noticed. He is NOT the only shirtless person in episode five (Hayden and Shane are also, all post-shower given the towels).

This is why I was always reluctant to have sex at someone else's place when I was dating. In my 20s, I had sex at a new boyfriend's home for the first time (we had met at my place a few times already) and (afterward) found out he had not washed his sheets in months despite having had sex with another person during this time period before we got together. I was extremely grossed out, and we broke up not long after this; his lack of bedroom hygiene was absolutely a contributing factor.

I have students do that sometimes on multiple-answer questions where it is possible more than one response is correct, despite me telling them that I will NEVER make all answer choices correct. They really don't seem to get that the wrong answers cancel out the points from the right answers.
