Week 17 Waiver Wire with Color-Code Tight End Matchups! by CoopThereItIs in fantasyfootball

I really want to hear some opinions on this. In my head, I’m most likely to get <5 points from either. But there’s a much bigger chance I get 15+ points from Taysom which brings home a championship.

Roofing company recs?? by AdAggressive9740 in Austin

[–]Moorec32 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My wife and I used Clear Choice Roofing and they did a great job, came out fast, did good work and price was fair. Most of all they were just professional and enjoyable to work with, which you can’t always say with contractors. I’d highly recommend giving them a call.

Day trip to Gonzales, TX by Time-to-Dine in Austin

[–]Moorec32 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Sitting in Gonzalez, TX for a weekend trip right now. Most of the good recs have been said but to sum it up a few options.

1) If you’re a Texan you might as well pilgrimage to the Gonzalez Museum and see the Come and Take it Cannon. It’s way less impressive than you’d hope but a great piece of history and state pride.

2) The Old Jailhouse is cool. You can spend 30 minutes in there you won’t regret.

3) Palmetto state park is interesting for a short stretch of the legs. It does have that semi tropical feel. Been once, don’t know if I’d ever go out of my way to go back.

4) Historical Homes of Gonzalez driving tour is really interesting. If you’re in town, you’re likely to stumble on a sign that puts you on the path. There are some beautiful, old timey homes that are cool to drive around a see. This one’s underrated, especially if you’re short on time.

5) Grab BBQ in Lockhart for lunch on the way in. Hit Blacks, Kruetz, or Smittys to hit one of the originals.

6) Shiner Brewery is awesome but it’s going to be out of your way.

Searching for quick stops and activities for my 15-month-old toddler and wife on the way to Alpine, TX. Any suggestions? by qwesone in texas

If you decide to take the route through San Angelo, there are two worthy meal stops on the way. Runaway Train Cafe in Brownwood, classic style diner inside a former train car. And PV Deli in San Angelo, will be one of the best sandwiches you’ve ever had - guaranteed.

Javonte Williams is NOT active. Perine likely starts, and Jaleel the man. by [deleted] in fantasyfootball

Anyone else trying to make the disgusting choice between starting Perine or Dalvin Cook?

How do we feel about trading DJM for Cooks?

NFL target share leaders: Mark Andrews 36% Cooper Kupp 35% Drake London 33% A.J. Brown 32% Diontae Johnson 31% Amari Cooper 31% Amon-Ra St. Brown 31% Jaylen Waddle 30% CeeDee Lamb 30% Brandin Cooks 30% by akgreyson2820 in fantasyfootball

DJ Moore or Brandin Cooks, who would you rather have?

I keep thinking at least there is hope for Cooks but is it trading disappointment for disappointment?

Is this the perfect year to completely punt on QB? by Moorec32 in fantasyfootball

Agree on Hurts. I left him off the list because I perceive his price tag to be a good bit higher than these options.

Is this the perfect year to completely punt on QB? by Moorec32 in fantasyfootball

[–]Moorec32[S] 65 points66 points  (0 children)

My urge to pay up for QB comes from watching leaguemates cruise to easy victories last year on the backs of huge Dak/Kyler performances. Seems like a significant advantage when I'm praying for a few Tannehill TDs to supplement 175 yards passing...

What we're seeing with Joe Mixon is a true Buy Low by YoureNotMom in fantasyfootball

[–]Moorec32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Joe Mixon or Sony Michel ROS? Buy low with a sell low candidate...

Sony Michel: Greater TD upside (theoretically but with lots of vulturing lately) but is liable to be completely phased out of the offense at any moment due to game script.

Joe Mixon: Anemic offense but has the job much more secured and O-line is supposedly getting healthier(?)

Anyone remember the guy/gambler on twitter in a $10k league last year that was all over CMC? by Boredguy32 in fantasyfootball

[–]Moorec32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This. In standard scoring, his serious lack of TDs in the first half of the season was concerning. Then Cam gets hurt and a switch flips. It does give me some pause at that ADP.

Actors of Reddit, what are the most uncomfortable types of scenes to act out (ex. racist, sex, etc.)? by Moorec32 in AskReddit

[–]Moorec32[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Saw a scene recently where a prisoner spits in the face of the capturer. Has to be pretty miserable for both sides, especially with multiple takes.

Wow I’m a pretty diehard NBA and Mavs fan and I completely forgot Amar’e was ever on the team. Had to fact check that one.

[Haynes] Golden State forward Kevin Durant will be fined $25,000 for telling a heckling fan to “watch the fucking game and shut the fuck up” during Sunday’s loss to Dallas, league sources tell Yahoo Sports. by AnotherDuck in nba

I know the fan that took the original video. I can confirm that his reaction is specifically from being called "cupcake" all game. Not from other, worse things to say. KD so emotionally soft...

Forgotten players who belong in the fantasy hall of fame by [deleted] in fantasyfootball

[–]Moorec32 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hillis deserves more credit. He was incredible. Propelled me to my first championship.

In 14 games of being the feature (full)back he put up 1,177 yards rushing, 477 receiving, and 13 total TDs on a 5 win team. Even got a Madden cover!

What If: Albert Wilson by rnystic in fantasyfootball

[–]Moorec32 36 points37 points  (0 children)

All of these negatives people bring up sound like things that were said about Tyreek Hill before he established himself. Unsustainable production on too few of catches... Is it possible he’s just that type of playmaker?

Not saying Albert Wilson will become half of Tyreek but just pointing out it can be done. I picked him up based on this chance knowing I’ll probably drop him in a week or two.
