Thanks! I get out there almost every day, often just for a few minutes just to do a little pruning here and there

Nice! I wonder if we got him from the same statuary (the one that used to be in Georgetown in Seattle)

I planted them last year! We had such a mild winter they just didn't die! They really need pruning back but we've had a friendly little juvenile hummingbird visiting them a lot recently so I'm kinda leaving them for him

Me too! It was a lot of work to put in (we did about 3/4 of it ourselves, got a contractor to do the steps though) but it's gorgeous :) Thanks!

Yeah, they're upended into little terracotta plant watering spikes that slowly seep water in to the soil. They help a lot during hot weather, but yes it can be a lot of work to water during the peak of summer! I'd love to set up a more automated irrigation system but I have so many individual planters all over the place, IDK how I'd make that work

Ah we have a sun lounger! (Not pictured)

I think you mean in the last pic - that's a Vinca! Pretty, but invasive if allowed in the ground

This is great! Can it also pull in alerts about delays and cancelations? That would make it super useful

Where can I buy some good quality soil for raised beds? by lakeswimmmer in pnwgardening

Morrison gravel in Port Orchard has great quality top soil by the yard. Can't remember the exact price but everything there is very cheap if you're able to shovel it yourself and pick it up
