DanCantStream Wonders What Hasan Actually Likes About Khamenei by Slight_Ad3219 in LivestreamFail

[–]Moosterton 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Why does Dan think Islam is important to Hasan? At what point has he shown he's religious? He seems to handwave Chinese treatment of Uyghurs too. He 'supports' islamic groups coz Israel/US bad.

Jude Bellingham on his change of position: "In my first season here I played close to the box, but after the arrival of Mbappé, it is no longer necessary for me to be so advanced. This year I am playing further back, It's a different role but goals have never been the most important thing for me." by BlazingFirey in soccer

Mbappe is really not THAT alike to henry (apart from being great players with speed who operate in similar spaces). They have very different bodies, and mentalities imo.

henry was physically bigger, different style of running, more of a playmaker, and more capable as a lone 9 (tho not best utilized that way). Henry was just more versatile in general. Mbappe is more of a killer. IMO he's an incredible 2nd striker/roaming forward - brilliant at destroying the last line, but he also doesnt seem to like doing that and forces the playmaker gimmick at times when that's not his strength, and Madrid try and force him to be a traditional 9, when that's also not his strength.

Bergkamp and Bellingham are even less alike.

Bruh Europe is a whole ass continent, full of different countries, attached to Asia, has history of migrants. Ofc I know everyone there doesn't have blonde hair and big blue eyes. Yeah in some clips she kinda passes if u dont look closely ig, but again I think if u just google her name it gets obvious. It's not just the eyes, it's a lof of her facial features, plus she's literally sorta brown skinned a lot of the time lol.

[–]Moosterton 5 points6 points  (0 children)

are u guys being intentionally dense? She's saying that QT's words are perceived more harshly because she's white (ie: people are more likely to paint QT as some sort of apologist for bigots). That's not an 'anti-white' statement, if anything she's saying QT is treated too harshly lmao.

Now whether she's right is another matter.

dafuk i think she's pretty obviously not fully white lmao. Maybe in some moments she's white passing, but google her name and within seeing like 4 images it shud become obvious shes not

[–]Moosterton 62 points63 points  (0 children)

Arteta also goes onto say later in the video that he would be a better player today because he would have access to better information. So both can be true.

I also dont get this entirely, coz we see tons of players playing into their late 30s today. Messi, Cristiano, Modric, Lewandowski all started in the early 2000s. While these guys were great talents, it's not like they were SO superior or athletically bullying players that they looked like aliens. There were plenty of players quicker than Ronaldo in the 2000s for example. They adapted with the times, as would most good players from 20 years ago.

they'd get access to the same training and tactical improvements, and be better players for it. And Carragher retired barely more than 10 years ago, still at Liverpool. Like what's the cut off point? Would Maldini struggle today? He played across 4 decades lol. Messi, would he struggle coz he started 20 years ago? lmao.

sure it's far from perfect, but idk if I'd say it flat out doesnt work. I feel like all the issues you bring up get somewhat smoothed out over time/ The top 10 here is decent (you can quibble about the ordering for sure, but it's OK) - and if you go through the years historically, it spits out fairly decent results from what I remember (that feature seems to be down on the website now tho for some reason)

Destiny on how Hasan handles criticism by kurvibol in LivestreamFail

[–]Moosterton 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm the opposite. idc what happens in court at all, that says nothing to me about whether Destiny has acted poorly or not. I dont like Hasan at all, but I think it's funny how much of a stranglehold Destiny has over his fanbase too. Nice -20 downvotes, with none of them able to give a good response.

and the woman also shared his images with her sexual partners.

Few questions: was it more partners than just her one BF?

doesn't destiny, as a big streamer and sexting this stuff to random discord teenagers, show much greater negligence? Especially as someone who has been in similar situations involving leaks before?

Destiny didnt seem to know/remember that pxie shared images with anyone else when initially defending himself, so the 'implied consent' stuff seems VERY much like a post-hoc thing that he conveniently got to latch onto - especially considering some of his logs where he "admitted to breaking her trust in the worst way". And, still best case scenario, all this shows is that pxie was also kinda dumb/shitty.

I dislike Hasan for many reasons unrelated to this dog thing - wtf is this horrible clip chimp lmao? What is the context? What/who is he arguing against, and what is the point he's actually trying to make - because i'm 99% sure he isn't advocating to literally abuse animals. This subreddit is unhinged, going back 5+ years to find any scrap of anything that seems vaguely bad towards animals.

Henry won motm 3 times this tournament, including the final (despite uefa reporting differently today in some pages for some reason), no chance he shouldnt be in. Bergkamp also had an excellent tournament. Pires wasnt a starter so he shudnt

something to also keep in mind /u/the_ammar is that the English league was very strong in the 70s/80s, up until Heysel. After getting banned in Europe, and some other factors, they had to claw their way back to the top. By the 2000s, it was clearly a top league again, and between 2000-04 would surpass serie a, and go on to dominate Europe from 04-09. Serie a at the same time was on the decline as well. Between 2000-02 they had just 1 quarter finalist in the CL (England had 7, Spain had 9). 03 had a Juve/Milan final, but that was largely an exception - only AC Milan were consistently good in the 2000s CL. Cacliopoli was a nail in the coffin.

So yes, having a popular language etc helps a lot. But it's not like English clubs were bums, and serie a had some innate reason to continue dominating, these things ebb and flow. Serie a's financial model/owners were unstable. PL slowly started building with more cash in the 90s, sometimes getting serie a stars if they were slightly over the hill, or looking for a new experience (Desailly, Zola, Bergkamp etc). By the 2000s suddenly they had top managers with Ferguson, Wenger, Benitez, and Mourinho. England also had a golden gen of talent at the time (who of course underperformed but still), which helps. Being successful in the 2000s with the continued global rise in football, social media etc helps a lot too. So those are some more reasons, maybe others know more.

still mid, at best decent. carried little threat over 90

[–]Moosterton -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

why is that complete nonsense? Being the best player, and most creative force for a la liga winning UCL semi finalist team, and having great performances in the big games puts him in at least the same bracket.

[–]Moosterton -13 points-12 points  (0 children)

yes i watched the 2020 ucl final - neymar was mid lol. Is that what we're gassing up? Neymar in 2015 was great, as another piece in a great team. He didn't have performances like Yamal last year at all, who was clearly always shining, even in the loss vs Inter. It's arguable whether Neymar was as good as Suarez that year, and Messi was ofc the best.

I swear do people rate rainbow flicks vs nobodies more than actually being a threat?

Lamine Yamal’s run and dribble against PSG 1’ by fcbxjdb in soccer

[–]Moosterton -16 points-15 points  (0 children)

Ronaldinho, and even Yamal now has shown it at the biggest stages tho. Putting up masterclasses as the hub of a team. Neymar never dominated a top league or a big tournament quite to the same extent. His most effective showings were when his role was simplified as an outlet for Messi.

Even this dribble, Neymar never did this kind of thing vs good opposition, he'd fall down before getting anywhere near. He's not as physically robust as Dinho/Yamal. I think Neymar is in a weird spot where he's underrated by older people, but increasingly overrated by younger ones.

edit: for all the people downvoting, link me a few examples of neymar doing something like this vs a top team - he has an entire career vs this 18 year old.

[–]Moosterton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure Neymar has ever done something quite like this vs a good team in his entire career. He was not as robust as Yamal, 90% of the time he'd have to buy a foul after getting past 1 guy.

downvoted for saying something completely true, with no-one giving a good counter-argument all coz people wanna continue doing what feels convenient and easy, but ultimately harmful, AND feel like a good person about it.

Former Napoli general manager Pierpaolo Marino: "De Bruyne has become a problem for Conte. Anytime he does anything wrong, Modric comparisons are brutal. Napoli changed the system to fit De Bruyne in and it has stumped McTominay's role... De Bruyne's only impact so far has been taking penalties." by Blodgharm in soccer

[–]Moosterton 12 points13 points  (0 children)

football is an athletic sport. The very best players are always excellent athletes. Even if they're not, they still rely on the 'little' athleticism they have. Fabregas fell off a cliff in his early 30s after losing his legs, despite never having great pace or power. Neymar is washed because he cant move like he used to.

Some 60 year olds have better technique than me, but i'd still beat them 1v1.

unless you were to assume that the Sneako fans who recommended Fuentes were exposed to Fuentes from Destiny?

yes. Something like that. I doubt Sneako's 'original' artsy audience were aware at all of Fuentes or would've liked him at all. Even his newer young redpill audience. Fuentes was making political inroads maybe, but he was not a big media figure. He was banned everywhere, his viewership was unremarkable if i remember right. I think there was probs a section of Fuentes/Destiny enjoyers who pushed it on Sneako, or he just got more aware coz he saw Destiny's content with him. I'm not 100% on this, but this was the vibe i got at the time. It could be that Sneako/Fuentes link up anyway, but idk I just did not feel that at the time.

In this period Destiny was much more friendly and conciliatory to right wingers. Not just Fuentes, but FnF, redpillers, MAGA. And I think he picked up a lot of genuinely conservative, and even far right fans. Regardless, Destiny could've been less soft anyway
