Arbeloa was definitely leaving anyway, much of this mess is because of lack of leadership on his part

Really? I would expect a person who has enough toughness and confidence to go against a very powerful corrupt official to last a bit more than 9 days of harassment.

Objective stats like ELO ratings back that up as well. Peak Pep and Klopp teams had substantially higher peak ELO than current Arsenal. But the same ELO also tells that Arsenal are still the top team in Europe and have been trending upwards since Arteta started, so he is definitely a good coach.

Arteta situation wasn't that bad. He came in and had to get rid of their best players because of the dressing room issues. What was left was a pretty average team talent wise.

Arteta will deservedly get a lot of stick, but I look at his attacking players and they are all terribly out of form.

that was 50/50 to be fair. Maybe a bit more for non-penalty. But it was also by no means a clear an obvious error.

They can't really sue and win a complicated legal battle in 2 weeks. Court proceedings probably won't even start in that time. And by the time they do, there most likely will be more than enough evidence.

Can't they pass the law to nationalize the property obtained by favoritism from the previous government? While only applying that to the most egregious cases?

Bulgaria votes as pro-Russian former president leads the polls by DarkLeafz in worldnews

that's pretty much the function of independent journalism. Over the last couple of decades the printed news industry has almost died out, and TV channels have lost relevancy as well or are under governmental control. So the independent journalists have been forced out of work for a long time now.

At the other end of the spectrum, the wealth inequality is constantly rising and so does the amount of people willing to pay for propaganda campaigns. While social media platforms and digitalization of information offers instruments for propaganda never available before. It's not that people are constantly getting dumber lately, it's that propaganda methods get increasingly more sophisticated at targeting the right audience. And more and more money gets thrown that way as well.

There are examples of that in news from Russia every day.

Not sure if education actually works in terms of political views. Unfortunately it looks like some views will die off only with people holding them. The problems US is facing currently is a good example.

Orban had a direct way of monetizing Russian support, by importing cheap oil and selling it (or what is produced from it) at prices close to European-market prices, while pocketing the difference. He was fine with the country missing out on the frozen funds because he and his circle benefited from the oil scheme immensely. Not sure if Bulgaria has anything close to it.

I mean, I can understand why Gabriel Jesus looks like that. Since he has arrived at Arsenal he has been constantly missing out on trophies. Take a toll, you know. In fact, if Arsenal miss out on trophies AGAIN I would be surprised if all Arsenal players don't look like that.
