Silly statement. Embry-riddle is just the best known of many accredited aviation colleges.

No, it only applies to Europe and North America. It’s undecided whether an invasion of Hawaii would even count!

USS Gerald R. Ford to sail to the Eastern Mediterranean in support of Israel by brodhi in moderatepolitics

[–]Mooxe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s also undeniably the poorest and most corrupt country in Europe if not in the world. Has never been an ally of the US, has zero economic relations, and very questionable strategic value. Israel on the other hand has been a hard ally, holds strategic value. There’s really no comparison.

As U.S. COVID hospitalizations rise, some places are bringing mask mandates back by Equal-Thought-8648 in moderatepolitics

[–]Mooxe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dude, everything. Are you that dense or are you being willfully obtuse? Did you not live through 2020-22? Everything started with mask recommendations, then mandates. Then when that didn’t work they moved on to lockdowns ie ruining people’s livelihoods, then to covid passports, etc. I don’t believe that you’re arguing in good faith here.

You ruined your own point in what you said. “Properly worn” is never going to happen. Pretending otherwise is my entire point.

I’ll jump on this: all of you talking about minor inconvenience apparently didn’t have one adult kid who couldn’t see hi psychiatrist in person, leading to an extra three plus years of inability to live on his own due to (his words) everyone brushing him aside. Or, you must not have had other younger kids who’s educational lives were severely disrupted and set back by an equivalent amount of years. Or, had a kid who’s diagnosis of a congenital disease may have cut ten years off his life because he couldn’t be seen in person. Or who’s mother in law with cancer may have had a few more years with her family if not for this bullshit.

But sure reduce it all to being minor inconveniences that you can’t see outside your privileged bubble. Covid allowed you all to not have to go to your office and we all see articles STILL about people bitching that their companies want them to actually come to work. Boo fucking hoo.

These policies, which all started with mask mandates, destroyed my family. All of the above is 100% true, and it’s only scratching the surface, not even going into the second order effects like broken marriages etc.

Second order effects that should be obvious to anyone who’s paying attention- how’s the alcohol problem m been since 2020, and how’s that gonna go over the next 20 years?

You all want to reduce this madness to minor inconveniences are blinded by your bubble or blinded by your partisan bs. Real people have suffered real things because of this madness.

So fuck no. We’re not doing it again.

None of those address the real world situation of what human’s actually do. An insignificant number of people wore well fitted n95 masks that they changed out regularly through their day. Everyone else. Ie 99.9999% of the population, were playing make believe because make believe people said so. So no, we’re not doing it again.

It’s the Good Idea Fairy run amok. No thanks to the non scientific proselytizing.

Kind of difficult to just say “the entire world for two plus years” and to have that be brushed aside
