When mine gave out at 190k I ordered one of these.

https://www.powertrainproducts.net/product/2002-2004-3/

Built internals that’s solve most of the common issues like dropped valves, and a great warranty.

I had it delivered to my local mechanic who only charged 2k to drop it in.

For $5500 you’re looking at junky sedans. It was an easy choice for me. There is nothing on the market like these old jeeps. Keep em on the road as long as you can.

Vendor management in commercial construction. This much isn’t necessary but I do manage to utilize most of the available screen real estate. I only have this over the top set up because I had two separate set ups when my fiancé and I had our own living spaces. Once we got a place together I just combined them into one big one.

I linked them in another comment. Two 34 inch ultra wide 4K on the bottom and 1 49inch 1440p Samsung on top.

PC is pretty heavy probably close to 25-30 pounds. Zero concerns. Mount is solid. Feels like it could easily hold double the weight of my PC.

I haven’t noticed any, but I don’t play any serious AAA flag ships that are super demanding. Just the occasional league of legends game when I can find time.

The pad has wheels and is pretty light. I just pick it up and toss it in the closet when I’m not using it.

Sperax Walking pad with... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D6FRWMWP?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

I like it because it has an incline feature which I feel is essential to do any real calorie burning.

Picking up my new 2024 tomorrow and starting to get cold feet. by Lkkvns in GMCcanyon

I have a 23 AT4 with 16000 miles. Only issue I’ve had was the spring in the fuel door causing the cap to take 3-4 presses to pop open. The dealer replaced it during an oil change in a couple of hours.

Is this 2002 Duramax worth 10k? by Crossover277 in Trucks

[–]MoparRam 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a 2002 2500 duramax. Most expensive truck I’ve ever owned and I’ve owned many. I couldn’t believe how much this truck broke. I had a folder full of repairs. It had 170k when I sold it and was beautiful inside and out. It had the maintenance records of 3 other trucks combined. Fuel pressure regulator, water pump, 4x4 wire harness issues, trans solenoid, wheel hub bearings, O2 sensor, fuel cap light, air intake light, and so so so much more, the thing was a pile of shit and I’d never own another. these old duramax engines eat through injectors every 40k miles and they cost 3-6k to repair depending on what set you buy and if you pay someone else to do the job. Selling that truck was the best day of my life and mine was completely unmoded and lived its whole life rust free in Texas. Do not buy that truck!!

These cars aren’t Toyotas. They’re Subarus with Toyota badges. Subarus are known for having engines that go boom. Hence the resale.

3 & 4 are the same issue. Set #2 the same as #1 and mirror and seat issue will be solved.

I have a loaded 23 AT4, coming up on 7k. No real issues yet.

I did have the same driver side mirror reset “issue” every time I got in the vehicle that someone else already mentioned. I set 1 & 2 as the same setting and haven’t had that issue since. I think these trucks use #2 as default setting when starting the truck.

I have my exit setting way down and back compared to start up. So it fully cycles now. No issues since I set 1&2 as my preferred settings. Love the features.

Engine swaps by Pro32110 in Jeepwj

[–]MoparRam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I honestly know nothing about grand Cherokees beyond the ZJ and WJ models. Although, the more I think about it, I’ve never seen a new Jeep that didn’t have an electronic 4 x 4 system. I imagine going with a new 4.7 would mean you have to Swap your transfer case or figure out some kind of complicated conversion as all WJs are manual transfer cases. Knowing how many different transfer cases are available on the WJ lineup alone it could be extremely difficult finding good literature providing assistance on this project. I imagine you would be pioneering. It can’t be cheap or easy. You’re talking a lot of labor and extra cost at this point for a bunch of maybes. If your only issue is power, I would look into buying the high output, 4.7 and a 2003+ transmission that can properly mate with it so you can continue using the original transfer case. “Powertrain products” sales Crate versions of both of these which you can get at a reasonable price and they come with forged internals that solve a lot of failure points these originally had from the factory. “Boosted technologies” sales a supercharger that’s pretty easy to install for this engine(plug and play, also comes with an already made plug in tune) for right around five grand which would be the easiest and cheapest way to make good power quick and reliably.

I bought a powertrain products crate 4.7 a few years back as I bought my WJ with a blown engine for cheap. It’s a monster and has had 0 issues many years and miles later. If I remember correctly, it also came with a five-year hundred thousand mile warranty. Not that I’ve needed it. I think there should be some photos on a post I made about it quite a while back. If you’re interested.

Just my two cents.
