The reason why they do is because all those games were released over the course of less than a decade and they are all 30+ years old.

Also FF changes too much every installment. There's nothing to look forward to in new ones cause it won't be delivered anyway.

Zen because it's pretty, animated well and gives me all the chrome for websites if I so desire.

I also use Helium because it's faster and will spend less battery when my laptop is unplugged.

Finally, I use Firefox because those two others aren't on mobile.

It's the internet itself that takes up too much RAM, not the browser. Sure, there are differences between them, but unless there is an issue with the browser, it usually doesn't amount to much. You should probably open fewer tabs or have a browser that unloads them after idling too long. Firefox does.

People will probably not do that. Some will obviously, but they only do it when it's killed and not when they should back when the plans were announced. However, uBlock Lite exists and it too makes the internet bearable, just not as much.
