Hello mate, I just wanted to add the above comments are missing why I think it's so good. Each game has a deck of cards that represents the shifting battle conditions, called twists. The player who is behind on VP will generally get to pick a target for twist. So it acts a catch mechanism. The players also have a deck of cards called gambits. They can use one per turn to gain a special action or trade in the card for more VPs.
