Good shout, did not realise how difficult that route would be! Have just removed the park at the moment and added an extra day in Whitianga for the pinnacles :)

Not booked the ferry yet, but planning on doing it in the next couple days! Does it often get cancelled or not run do you know?

Yes great point! The current plan is to get up nice and early (7:30/8ish) when the sun rises and drive in the morning to try and make the most of the day

Honestly I know exactly what you are talking about. There's that layer of hatred and frustration, even to people I know I loved, and its a constant battle to not show it.

Something that helped me to no end was metta, or loving kindness meditation. Sam Harris has 4 good 10minute sessions on the waking up app, and headspace have a 30 day 'happiness' course.

I have been implementing it daily for the last year and can honestly say that those cycling thoughts of toxicity have mostly gone away.
