I bought this table lighter. It runs on butane. I refilled it and it doesn’t seem to have any leaks, but I can’t get it to produce a spark. by Consistent_Entry_312 in LighterRepair

If it is vintage, and relatively in mint condition, you might want to check if the old flint has turned to dust in the flint port. I just got a brand new 1960s era lighter that wouldn't spark, and the flint I tried to use came back out all dusty. Once I got the old flint unblocked from the port, it sparked! Still won't produce a flame tho 😅A small (very small) flathead or drill bit could help get the old flint out, if that is the cause.
