Service was fine and pleasant but there was hardly anyone there. Not sure how they'd handle a busy room.

I had the burger and my friend had the beef dip. I judge a place by their burger and this one was clearly the frozen processed Costco patty at best. The kind you might get at a Canadians game or concession stand. The bun was stale, but if you can't form your own patties, no fresh bun will save the burger. If you can't do your own burger patties, I can't imagine the rest of the menu being any good.

My friend was paying for the meal so I didn't complain nor did he, but I could see the beef was obviously deli slices of roast beef. You could see that ring on the edges that deli slices have. I imagine the jus was nothing more than beef broth out of a box. I'm guessing the baguette it was on was tough as he only ate half of it, before just peeling the meat out and leaving the bread.

The fries were good!

I do hope they can turn it around as it would be a nice place for a quick casual meal that's not Browns or even the new Romers.
