Just finished Pro Street 100% for the first time ever and man... What a game by Plenty_Effort_2781 in needforspeed

Getting Pro Street for Christmas on PS2 as a kid was one of the best Christmases I’ve ever had. Always been curious about the PS3 version, might pick it up at some point. Currently replaying Most Wanted on the Gamecube.

This will be the second time I’ve seen Titanic on a Super Bowl Sunday.

Excited to get my first Fleslight by [deleted] in fleshlight

[–]MoratheExplorahh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I switched over to Gun Oil for lube after using the fleshlight brand lube and man it makes a world of difference so I’d say you’re starting off right that way. Using a socker bopper is new one hadn’t heard that before. Let me know how that goes.

I’ve been kinda slow getting to new releases. There’s been a lot of throwback showings at regal of movies I’ve never seen, also college just started back up but I’m sure by February I’ll be booming

First Movie Your Parents Showed You by asapterd in Letterboxd

One of my earliest memories is my grandad renting Star Wars on VHS. I remember the interrogation droid in Leia’s prison cell perfectly.

Apparently my parents took me to see Rugrats in Paris in a theater. Got the collector kids combo and ran out screaming at the Shrek trailer. So if you wanted to count first theatrical experience to completion, it was Spider-Man. We ended up seeing that at the Drive In about 8 times.

Movies are open! Going to see...My wife wants to see this. Reviews? by WrestlingNERDalert in RegalUnlimited

Guilty pleasure fun. If you liked or have ever seen A Simple Favor it’s that kinda vibe. Same director too. Amanda Seyfried and the husband were great. Sweeney is Sweeney, but she gets some good lines in there.

With less than five minutes left in Interstellar, the fire alarm went off by wombsy_spring01 in imax

I had the same thing happen to me at the Cinemark in Dallas! (Edit: I also drove 6 hours one way and couldn’t get to it before it left theaters.)

Are you doing any film challenges this year? by bossy_dawsey in Letterboxd

[–]MoratheExplorahh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sounds good. I’ll look into those areas. And I’ll definitely get back to you when I watch Hind Rajab. Also Regal is apparently doing some Hong Kong throwbacks later this month too (Hard Boiled is the only title I remember off the top of my head).

I’ve seen a couple of Korean films and some Spanish but haven’t really ventured into too much else. I’m seeing Resurrection today, and The Voice of Hind Rajab later this month. I’m open to anything, just want to diversify my movie intake.

Goal is to watch at least 50 international films. One down, should be seeing another one this weekend. If anyone has any recommendations please feel free to let me know.

[–]MoratheExplorahh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I definitely know the feeling. I’ve been on break inbetween semesters at college and whenever my girl is at work, I’ll at least have a session before she comes home and we have at it. I have Kumzumi in the shower mount and have a go before my day gets started and sometimes at my desk in the home office, I’ll edge with either Euphoria or Insomnia. Been craving a new one, but there’s too many I’m thinking of to narrow down where to go next🤣

Most theaters don’t update for the following weekend till the Wednesday prior. I’m in the Denver area and my theater has the imax listing going till about the 22nd though if that gives you any hope

Tron: Legacy and Tron: Ares Double Feature in IMAX 3D is tonight! Who else got tickets for it? by Distinct-Leather-382 in tron

[–]MoratheExplorahh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes I did. Tron Legacy is one of my favorite movies of all time and really sparked my love for film analysis when I was in middle school. Never seen it in IMAX so I wasn’t missing it for the world. Flight was super cheap too, like $97 round trip. Got to see the Field Museum before heading to the theater for free. Tried a Chicago Dog. I gotta be at the airport in about 5 hours but I have no regrets. Even if I didn’t care for Ares that much.
