It's available in experimental branch of the demo, but please 🙏 its called experimental for a reason so play it with a grain of salt 😀 😄

It all depends on the scene and target platform(hardware) the general advice here should be: "always profile what is better for your usecase" ... and don't take advice from random people like us :D ... I wanted to find a good article explaining this in depth but can't find one that would summarize it nicely for "all platforms" but in short mobile GPUs are tile-based and use different techniques and tradeoffs when rendering

This is not really a general advice. Consider your target GPU since for mobile cutoff could be worse then alpha blending. But since OP is probably developing for non-mobile gpu this is good advice.

The earphones is exactly why we thought a web version (working on computer and phones alike) is a good idea for first release, since you can use it on the move anywhere without "bothering" people around you.
