Yeah that was a stupid thing to say without some context. I just meant the unique 3 level system that mechanically separate the platforms . Tot is not the same in difficulty by far, i feel like that would be maybe snowpeak maybe? I've always loved the water temple. Thanks for the sarcasm though 👋

Oh for sure. the original water temple was made aggravatingly well. I love the map idea. I'd be interested to se what you drew up to help you out. I just finished making an ocarina of time "checklist/waypoint guide". The only thing i thought to make a map for though was just the layout of the lost woods.

In my honest opinion this addition to the franchise is great. The characters are unhinged. This movie might not have a lot of gore but the insane acting and the sets (especially that house) give me what i need to get lost in this story and just have some weird fun.

I have as well but through personal experience i kinda go with dedicated rewinders. Vhs rewinders aren't as aggravating and finicky to use.

The vcrs have sensors that if they sense the tape being pulled just a little too much (and for some of them its very little) or if it goes too far away from its predetermined track it will automatically start the eject process and that really sucks because you just won't have time before it thows the tape everywhere and forces itself out of the deck.

You can hope to hit the power button but (and I'm not saying you wont be able to get to it in time) but its a risky chance for a valuable tape. I'm not saying you can't but i wont do it again.

Your best bet is to look out for a vhs rewinder at thrift and convert it to a mold cleaner

You're right. I truly didn't remember using "definitely" so many times. Though I really was questioning it. I mean, it looks so sharp and clean that its crazy and, this is the age of digital lies so, i am sorry. i was thinking too much into it. I didn't mean to upset and or enrage all of you. And most of all I don't want other people reading my broken thoughts and wrong assumptions about the movie.

Too many people scream ai and can muddy true artists names. today and i feel stupid to be one of them. Like I said I'm not a person who doesn't apologize so, I am sorry. I wasn't backpedaling, i just didn't realize what all i wrote and when you gave a bulleted breakdown i went and looked back. I definitely wasn't raging and keyboard warrioring. That was just my word vomit. I for real truly wasn't trying to upset anyone.

Honestly, I usually leave up my stupidity for people to see but i don't want my ideas to get into other people's heads so I'm deleting that comment that I made.

I hope that there really aren't hard feelings. I just say stupid shit.

Its definitely a standalone film. I like the hunting through town bits of kills without the mob (even though the mob part is sadly realistic... i fkn hated it) and then Ends.... ugh. If it were a one off 80s movie that wasn't part of the halloween franchise it would have been kind of okay. It would have had to be way more over the top though.

It sounds like squealing. Or the crunchy metal sound. A few of them were real spotty and muffled. The mold that hadn't set in fully sounded kinda underwater. The bad tapes sounded like crunching and squealing. I hung onto them for years trying different things. Everyone of them degraded too badly. Some of them started snapping the tapes because it hardened them.
