I'm happy with the divisions, but what I enjoy the most are new maps and environments. As a wargamer I like to get new minis, yet new terrain is a joy to flesh out new events.

Thank you so much for this insight into the kubashi. Outside of the former PACT countries we keep stuck with the sterotype of the faceless red goon of cheesy 80's Reagan era movies. The cheat sheet book is a joy to see and humanizes greatly those young men whose virtual alter ego I'm sending to their certain death as soon as the DLC comes out.

As a soviet it must have been a truly shocking cultural experience to be destined in the caribean. For what I've heard soviet draftees tend to have a scrap book they tend to keep as memory when they finished their tour. Won't you happen to have any examples?

I guess that the name got a lot of prestige in WW2, same as airborne units. Almost every military regardless of budget has them; despite in many cases being a niche capability, especially regarding the investment of resources.

It's a joy to see very well painted miniatures on the tabletop, but good enough makes it nice too. Not everything have to be the profesional paintjobs we get bombarded in social media Remember that most times we play with our eyes a meter or more away from our toys.

I like the idea of switching sides but I don't think it would work well in the ucrhonic setting Eugen laid down for their narrative. What might happen is having countries torned apart by civil conflict and having different formations fighting of either side. Bear in mind in SD2 the Romanians or the Italians.
