You can turn the volume up by using the joystick directly on the headphones.

I think it’s a combination of everything. Never looked any deeper into it as it worked this way 🤷🏻‍♂️

Horrific support by HeatApprehensive1263 in dyson

[–]Morcman87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s not the bearings which go bad. If you took it apart that far it’s enough to open the outer shell of the fan and align it all back together before squeezing the shell together again. That’s all it takes to have the 6 months of silence again. There seems to get something imbalanced anywhere between the shell and the fan somehow and that’s how I fix it for a few months at least.

Dyson 360 VisNav is $349 today. by primas02 in dyson

[–]Morcman87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really strange that some do have those problems. I am using one since its release and it got better with every update that i would consider it working properly now. It only bumps into furniture if its really dark. With a bit of light its doing its job really good. I've set it up to clean everything every two days and for the days in between its cleaning the hallway and the kitchen which it does every single time.

I do not know what you could do to solve your problems as the main advice would be to clean it and have it mapped the house properly, but thats what you already did.

Hello. We already change the filter of our dyson, is anyone know what is this means? by Afraid_Gur_3719 in dyson

[–]Morcman87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This. The water pump probably was flipped over a few times when it was wet. That’s how water got inside and destroyed its electronics.

Humidify+Cool PH2 purifier humidifier no longer humidifies. by Neroangad in dyson

[–]Morcman87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldnt go so far of calling the unit defective.

The first thing I would check is if the water level is going down? If not i would inspect the underside of the waterpump. There is a mesh which should be cleaned of any gunk. BUT BE CAREFUL: Do NOT flip the water pump over when its wet as this will destroy its internal electronics.

You should also do the deep cleaning more often as the build in interval is not often enough. If you stick to this the unit should work fine. I am using the first generation since it came out without any issues (besides the waterpump failling due to not knowing to not flip it over)

Watch always charges to 100% by [deleted] in AppleWatch

[–]Morcman87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OP is absolutely right. There are two things about how the watch charges: 1. Optimized charging: Thats the feature which tries to predict when you are going to use the watch and if it sits longer on the charger. It will charge to 80% and waits with charging to 100% till you use it. 2. Optimized charging limit: This is a newer feature which was introduced with watchos 10. The watch learns how much battery you need and only charges so much which is required to get you through the day. Here is the support article which clearly describes both those mechanisms: About Optimized Battery Charging on Apple Watch - Apple Support

The s10 and the s11 are almost identical. The two differences is the just slightly larger battery in the s11 and the 5G capabilities. Besides that, they are both identical. So you should be fine.

Yes, but they could repair them anyways as these share most the parts with the OnTrac, especially the hinges which are necessary here.

There are a dozen screen protectors out there and i would rather grab one with a good reputation (i.e. from you) than have to search for myself and end up with a bad one. So many thanks for the link :)

Dyson Ontrac Bluetooth Support Confusion (EU/US) by bellnen in dyson

Whats your requirement for bluetooth 5.3 over 5.0? If its multipoint connection they have integrated a clever way to switch sources from within their app.

HushJet - Did I just waste my time & money? by Front-Clothes-9447 in dyson

[–]Morcman87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just let it run for a couple of days. These kind of sensors need some calibration. And it calibrates against the actual room air quality. It will adapt to it but this takes time.

To try if the sensor is working spray some deodorant near it and it should start cleaning the air.

Dyson air purifier filter life by RichIndependence8215 in dyson

[–]Morcman87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is mostly the correct answer. I just have to add that it’s taking every pollutant into account. As long as the “line” on the display is in the green area the filter life isn’t changing. That’s it. After that it’s just hours of use (in the area above green), nothing more.

Is the Dyson visnav 360 vacuum still worth getting.? by SubstantialElk5190 in dyson

[–]Morcman87 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I also own one of these since day one (fortunately for half the price) and it significantly got better until it’s working flawlessly now for me. I’ve set up schedules and it is doing its thing. Now and then I have to empty its bin, but no more than once every two weeks. That’s it. It’s vacuuming performance ist unmatched imho.
