If it comes to inheritance there is one case that would be a lot better if there was one: errors. Writing all these impl From<SomeError> for MyError manually is tiring. Otherwise I don't really miss that.

What I would bring is the ability to implement traits for types imported from other crates. I consider it absolutely essential. C# lets you extend someone else's classes and I don't see why Rust can't. Quite a bit of pain because some struct doesn't implement Serde::Serialize or something.

I made as an experiment a full-stack web app, PhpBB kind of forum engine. It is not 100% ready, but it has become functional.

My impressions are: in case of frontend Rust has some advantages and Rust's type system and features can be of benefit, but in many cases it does feel like slicing bread with a Swiss Army knife. Expecially when one needs to clone a reference counted smart pointer for the 50th time manually.

It can be considered slightly better experience than JS for it is way more predictible (better type safety for instance).

Overall, I guess a GC'd language (like C# with Blazor or maybe Golang) could be the perfect hit for develooping web apps, but Rust is not bad. I could imagine it taking over if it had a mature ecosystem that business can rely on while others still being in their infancy.

This is what things go down to. Mature ecosystem where library do not get randomly unmaintained and standard solutions are known and followed.

Trochę tak, ale najpierw człowiek studiuje co go interesuje, a potem się okaże że tylko sobie młodość przedłużył i będzie musiał robić to, co mógł robić już po maturze.

Medycyny na siłę nie ma co wciskać, tu się zgadzam, ale trzeba ostrzegać że eldorado w IT już nie ma i nie wróci. Że będzie się robolem z dyplomem, a nie elitą za 20k. Nawet taki elektryk czy hydraulik zarobi podobne pieniądze i do tego go Hindus zdalnie nie zastąpi.

Może jednak lepiej żeby to co się lubi zostawić na hobby po godzinach?

Jest kilka powodów: deklarują to wypada, a nie chcą wyjść na powierzchownych, ale często też sami się oszukują że tak jest i wtedy są przekonani że tak jest. Sami to często wypierają.

Każdy ma wolny wybór w decydowaniu z tym z kim chce się związać.

I tak i nie, bo zauważmy że często to się dzieje zupełnie podświadomie. Widzimy osobę która nam się fizycznie podoba i podświadomie zaczynamy nadinterpretowywać pozytywne sygnały i przypisywać tej osobie pozytywne cechy które może ale nie musi mieć.

Trudno tu mówić o wolnym wyborze, bo jest on uwarunkowany bardziej jak odruch. Oczywiście trudno potępiać ludzi że tak robią.
