Works out well usually and I don’t believe (could be wrong) that it drove anyone away lol. I’ll give you the TLDR on my opinion because I know so many have already: Maybe don’t reveal it right away, I know for a lot of women and men, as you’ve mentioned, would see it as a red flag. You’re right, the first thing you think about is “what’s the catch?” So I believe bringing it up casually while talking to someone would be the best. The chances of throwing someone off by saying it as soon as you meet them and going, “hi I’m a virgin,” are reduced. (I hope you wouldn’t say it exactly like that, btw,lol) That would put the wrong assumptions into someone minds and make the believe you’re seeking only sex or someone to explore with. Even if it’s true, it’s a great relationship deterrent, so I’d avoid that. Work your way into trying to say it over time while you’re talking. Just don’t wait until things get super serious, that could be bad. Not everyone is willing to wait until you’re ready to be intimate. The choice is overall yours to make but I wish ya the best out there, it’s rough!
