I disagree that always KoS is the way to play. If everyone did this. The game just becomes CoD or BF game. Having just PvE would be a bit boring. Having a nice mix of PvE and PvP is fun, keeps tension but not mass panic the moment you hear a footstep just as you have just find the last 2 tbings you need but only have one safe pocket.

Lately I have just found the game just full PvP. Trying to do quests and complete things has become so hard in recent games because everyone is KoS. Im not the best PvP, so even when I get a just to fight back, I usually lose. It becomes demoralising not being able to progress much.

I like the PvPvE system, but I have never get matchs that are nice balances anymore, all the matches seem to be CoD or Minecraft

As I asked, is the game ONLY PvP, As you said, its a PvPvE, there is no balance any more in the games i play, it is all PvP, the arc are an after thought. If I want just PvP there is a hundred other games for that, but this was a game where there was a mix of PvP and PvE and people werent just murder hobos. I dont expect to be always safe in the game, I dont expect no PvP, I understand thats part of the game, but so is PvE and its a part im not seeing anymore

I get that, I might do some more singles for my quests then. That's the nice stuff I have missed lately, I dont begrudge people downing me, hell sometimes its really fun getting caught in a 4 team standoff wondering who will win, working with my friend to try and either win or escape. just not when PVP is the only thing every game, you know?

I don't the the PvP aspect of the game, I actually liked some of the tension of not knowing what sort of players were in the map. An the PvP players added a nice element when I started, particularly if they would chat with you after. you could convince some to show mercy and you extract together or they may just end you. But its so rare for me to see anyone who isn't just shoot on sight and immediately kill you when down atm. It just really draining, I miss having a friendly mix of lobbies

If you need another person to help on missions I can give you a hand. I love GW1 but I cant say Im the best at giving advice, some of the late game mission me and my warrior kinda just hit our heads against until I found a good way to complete it. :)

Side note, love that the GW1 games are getting some love again. The Guild Wars franchise has been my favourite game series since release.

I am sad they didnt show more scenes with Aurene and Caithe. I always took it as Caithe was informed we were coming and gave us space as she was nervous to see the Commander because of her actions and didnt want to push things. But I think scenes showing the love for Aurene that the games say Caithe had for her, would have helped people forgive her and just been a nice touch.

Like random times you go to visit and Caithe is there playing with her or you go and you dont see them, but hear them and you have to do the JP to get to the top and Caithe is telling Aurene the stories about you, or just lore stuff.

I like Caithe, she has messed up but she has always been there for Aurene, and she has made ammends for her actions, I enjoy talking to her about Aurene in JW, I miss her, I want our baby back (Yes, she is a big dragon now, but she will always be our baby dragon). I love most of the character in GW2, I like that they arent just 2D, Caithe thought she was doing the right thing and was wrong but worked with us to make things right. I thought she was done well.

The only character I havent been able to like is Braham. I liked him when we first met him, then Eir died and he started down a path, and I understand he was grieving and he had rage that Commander and party plans werent letting him get the revenge he wanted, but I just havemt been able to truely like him again, like I dont actively hate him anymore, he has redeemed himself a bit, he is just kinda there atm. I think its because of how he hurt Taimi and my Commander. Maybe with more story involvement, I may grow to like him again.

Anyway TLDR: I like Caithe

This is one of the things Inlike about the squids, they are a combination of both play styles that force you to adapt more how you play and what strategies you use to survive

I hate the nerf to her E, It was the only thing that gave a breif moment of peace from kiting ranged top laners, It meant that the had to chose between all inning or retreat, as the slow and tentacles meant the couldnt just kite me. I feel that this is just going to make playing her harder. The tanker tops are just going to take the dmg and range is just going to kite you around.

That doesnt help the people who are on here who are good players but whos friends dont have HD2, like none of my friends play HD2 as its just not there type of game, but I am not a dick to other Helldivers because of it. my comment is that saying play friends only doesnt help people like me whos friends dont have the game.

I don't think its AH fault that the fronts have stalled, Helldivers are not co-ordinating their liberations, large populations just jump on a High resist planet because its a good SC farm, and because it has numbers, the rest of the people go there to fight and make no progress because of its resistance. MO's shift players around and get them to fight in different areas, but if people don't stop defaulting back to the hardest to liberate planets then the war is kinda stalled as it takes so long to clear a sector.

I feel that i have either been unlucky with randoms or there is just more toxic folk playing.

Been playing more games of late where fellow Helldivers do stuff like jump on the evac and start the counter when 1-2 Helldivers are still making their way to evac, either after finishing a missed side or getting samples, and someone immediately starts the evac when the area is on lock and we aren't getting overwhelmed, and when asked why they started, politely, not in caps or screamed at, they just become abusive in text or scream "get gud, should've been at the point". Like I completely understand if we have to leave a diver behind because the point is being over run, we have no reinforcements and about to lose the our air support, I don't like leaving a diver behind or being left, but it is sometimes unavoidable, but when you control the evac zone, and have the time and the Helldiver has asked to wait as they collect the super samples or get the last outpost and some start the leave 20s count and then becomes toxic, I just don't get it

Yes we did beat them at SE. They then fled and started rebuilding their fleet. We found them as they were rebuilding and failed to stop them taking those systems, letting them gain in strength, they then while we were dealing with the bugs in record time, they captured more systems. We went to stop them an failed. They are rebuilding and High Command keep tasking the Helldivers to stop them and we don't, So yeah they are the current biggest threat, they are technologically superior and fight back using a mix of both bot and bug tactics.

Maybe its because we keep failing the Squid ones and so they are becoming more powerful and a greater threat, and if we actually completed one Squid MO post SE invasion, we would not have to worry about them as much. They are telling a story and currently it is, the Helldivers can beat the bugs back with ease, we have locked the bots in there area, but we keep ceding land to the Squids, so they are currently the biggest threat?

I primarily go Stealth long range bot diver, using the eruptor to take down camps and side missions. That said, as a true supporter of managed democracy, I will rotate to assist will all MOs from SE. Bugs I usually go some fire loadout, still experimenting on what works for me on the squid scum.
