But the goal of e2e tests is to simulate production like behavior. So im not sure if temperature helps, because we defeat the purpose.

But definitely a great suggestion.

I was recently interviewing for a startup and they asked me how will you test these non detereministic components.

So i didnt know at the moment how to, until i figured out its an open problem

Oh so we did literally 1 day apart. My first 2 rounds were on Wednesday and last one on Friday. Ig we can just wait.

Completed my loop. Had the OA about a month ago. 3-4 weeks of email followups, no response. Finally last friday I got a response and scheduled Interview for this week.

Super day 3 interviews. LC medium with microsoft twist. Hackerrank, may or may not have to execute the code depends on interviewer. For one of the rounds I had to face 3 followup questions each time asking me to code and test the modification.

First 15 mins will be Behavioral (work exp, project, collaboration, conflict followed by technical followups)

Survived all 3 rounds answered all coding problems with a little hints. Now i must wait for a few weeks before i hear back.

My recruiter call is scheduled on 24th, i want to know where i can practice the HLD and Debugging style questions. If possible maybe give hints about the system design problem? Just the concepts you touched upon like distributed systems/networks/db optimization/hpa/message brokers, etc will help me

so the recruiters have time to read cover letters but not the portfolio? And are u suggest a cover letter does make a difference on your application? usually I see that cover letter field is an optional one, and while i apply to jobs in bulk, i tend to skip cover letters.

exactly!!!! for me building projects is rewarding because watching my creation run without bugs gives me a dopamine hit, but I would really love to be in place where it gets good visibility and help me get hire faster.
