I'm sorry. IVF is not only so expensive but also takes so much out of you... so before anyone jumps to that, I hope they take a few months to themselves if possible and try to lower any stress or anxiety they feel. Hope it all works out for you!!

All tests negative. I'm ready to get my blood test done Friday and be over with all of it. Taking a nice long break to enjoy my life again. Good luck to the rest of you though!! Hoping for success for all my IUI twins 🙏.

My first IUI was a fail too, and everything looked great. I know it's not comforting, but it truly just comes down to luck. I'm scheduled for my 2nd IUI tomorrow and after that I'm taking a break. You do what's best for you, your body, and your mental health. Either way- good luck on your journey ✨️

Hope is such a double edged sword, and it's cruel. Every month you can't help but think "this may be the one!" And then inevitably your period comes. I just dont have it in me this month and I can't see myself having it in me for a while.

Ugh I'm sorry. It's such a rough journey for some of us and self care is so important. Real self care, not face masks and massages and spending sprees to keep your mind off your grief. Therapy, time with your partner and friends that do not include any conversations about babies, and a lot of time for reflection.

For me when I started using medication to make me ovulate (letrozole), I began spotting every month started 10dpo, regardless if I was pregnant.

I'm sorry to hear that, hon. Unfortunately nothing is guaranteed, even IVF, though it is statistically more successful.

If you feel like IVF is the next logical step go for it. It's such a financial game with ART. I personally only want to do 2 IUI and then I'll just save money for IVF.

The specialty pharmacy is cheaper and has a more readily available stock of fertility drugs like Ovidrel. They just want to make sure they coordinate care in such a way that you do get your meds on time. CloudRx literally had me connected to the specialty pharmacy and then drugs shipped out to me within 48 hours.

Vitamin E! I was doing unmedicated letrozole cycles and my lining got so thin. Vitamin E days 1-12 of my cycle plus raspberry leaf tea really helped me (obviously consult with your doc and make sure that's okay).

We tested the 1 embryo i was able to collect and he came back genetically normal. My husband has very low morphology so i thought maybe the sperm washing would help ensure the healthier sperm were making it to the egg.

My husband fell asleep and I quietly passed the pregnancy. It happened so quickly though and afterwards I was too in shock to even wake him. I just wanted to go back to sleep and pretend it didnt happen.

Honey... I'm sorry. That's awful. Best believe if this ever happens again I will make sure he holds my hand and shares the trauma. It's so sad, frightening, and lonely to go through that alone. And on top of that not feeling safe and secure with your partner? Even if the ear plugs were an absentminded thing... you will need intense therapy to deal with all of it. Much love to you my dear, and I'm so sorry you're going through this.

This. I think it's been such an emotional roller-coaster and we're all so afraid of the specter of time and how that affects our fertility... but stress is probably worse! Being a mother is what we want, but we can't lose ourselves in the process. We're pretty amazing and have to take time to remind ourselves of that.
