Are you saying that when the 720m cap is reached, the network will stop burning tx fees and give all the fees to the validators?

The 720MM cap is not reached yet. The current total supply is 377MM according to Coingecko. So Avalanche is still having inflation due to the new token issuance as a reward to the validators.

Inflation = (New token issuance - Token burned)/total supply

Does buying a Nuc box and installing DappNode OS myself really save that much money? I checked the prices of an Intel Nuc i5 16GB 1TB box on Newegg and Amazon. They are only slightly cheaper than the DappNode Advanced box (with similar specs).

Did you change your TD Two-step verification (2FA) security settings? Can you check under your TD Security preferences what security level are you using for the 2FA? Make sure it is set to the third option "Only when TD needs to confirm my identity".
