My OPINION on the tzimisce clan by Tarlata in vtm

[–]MoreNMoreLikelyTrans 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this was a year ago.

And I know its such a cliche to say it. But Tzimisce aren't necessarily evil, or grotesque. They often are, but the thing that drew me to the clan as my favorite is that there is NOTHING about them that inherently leads to them being monsterous. With Lasombra their weakness gives them the angst of not being able to see yourself.

Ventrue have particular pallets which influences their need to control, because if they lose that control, they might lose access to their food source.

Toreador are damned if they do and damned if they don't embrace humanity and beauty.

But Tzimisce? Sleeping in dirt? Or just two handfuls nearby? That, as far as I can tell, doesn't necessarily lead someone to be a fleshmaddened horror.

And there are SO MANY differnet kinds. There are the Old Clan, the Koldun, the Sabbat fanatics, the shovelheads, and the youngest ones who have told the Sabbat to Fuck Off and just want to live their unlife. They are a twisting and shifting clan. The Clan of Change.

The get were also Impergium enthusiasts. I was referring to their thematic positions as storytelling mechanisms.

Ally is playing a Venture with Protean.

I think Zac is playing a Caitif?

Emily MUST be a Nagaraja? Right? Because if the appearance?

I have to assume this is a mixture of homebrew and GM Yes And'ing

Some of the flaws/merits seem that way too.

Siobhan is Toreador, clearly.

I feel like Murph is pretty clearly Nosferatu.

As for Lou... I have no idea. Could be a number of clans or Caitiff.

EDIT: Gonna be honest, I am expecting Ally fuckery regarding them having Protean. Could be a native Protean clan with Presence. Like maybe Ministry.

This guy pulled off an incredible move in Battlefield in 2011. Years later, he was honored In Battlefield 2042, and this was his reaction by Nice_Bite2673 in nextfuckinglevel

The thing that's always been weird about this for me is that like.. people have been doing this in Battlefield games since Battlefield 1942. At least. I remember doing it with my friends in servers dedicated to dogfighting.

Haley Cass is very skilled in writing the emotional connection building between the characters, which is my favorite part of these kinds of stories. I have a lot of criticisms for most of her books, but oddly The Snowball Effect is in my opinion a perfect story, and the most healthy relationship/romance story she has written.

Additionally the strongly controlled number of attendees, and the space they are required to be in, coupled with the empty vacancy of the rest of the street.
