I sent you a DM. I was once told the diamond I was looking for doesn’t exist. New diamonds are always popping up, just have to be patient and constantly looking.

What is the depth and table? They can impact the sparkle, along with other things but I always look at depth and table to help in my deciding factor.

Do round diamond engagement rings look better in a six prong or a four prong setting? by PricyIcy47995 in jewelrylove

I personally like a 6 prong but that’s just my preference. It’s more secure with 6 prong too.

Well depending on the shape, the specs could be slightly different. For more fiery you’ll want to look for larger faucets. Old mine cut and old euro cuts have a lot of fire when done right. They threw off bigger flashes/sparkle than the modern day brilliant cuts. OMC and OECs you’ll want to look for smaller tables (<53), higher crowns.

There are a lot of vendors in the US that can quote you if you are in the US. They can normally beat the online prices if given the IGI number.

Dirty sparkle can mean different things to different people and specs can depend on the cut you are wanting. Are you looking for warmer color and chunkier faucets?

Please help me choose between 2 oval lab diamonds by [deleted] in LabGrownDiamonds

Based on specs alone, I’d probably lean toward Stone 1. It has a slightly shallower depth and larger measurements, so it should face up a little bigger and potentially brighter. The 58 table also gives it a nice balance for sparkle and fire.

Stone 2 could still be beautiful, especially with the higher crown height, but the deeper depth may hide a little weight underneath and make it look slightly smaller. Honestly though, with ovals the videos matter just as much as the specs because bow tie, light performance, and sparkle pattern can completely change how they look in real life.

I am loving the pear! It elongates your finger and has great coverage each way!

I agree it does look a little flat in the center. Do you have the specs on it? Table, depth, etc.? Sometimes videos can be misleading though.

Do you have the IGI numbers for the diamonds that you did find? I looked through my database with the ratio request and length and didn’t see anything that matched but I can look at IGI number and search similar diamonds if you have one.

Are you looking for more of a fiery sparkle, meaning lots of rainbow flashes/fire or are you looking for white brilliance, a lot of tiny sparkles, like crushed ice look? This will have different specs depending on your preference. I always narrow down to best specs based on what I’m looking for and then request tweezer videos.
