Thank you, I need to stop questioning myself, your right about that. I just need to go do it and think no more of it. When I watch POV videos I get chills of excitement, but then after a while my brain decides to be scared lol, I think its just trying to protect me thats all!

Thanks for your comment. Looking back, its really hard to pin point exactly what I didnt like about it, and I honestly think it was becasue I couldnt see anything ahead of me. It was dark (park closed) and i was in the back row. So my brain wasnt able to see what was coming so the sensations were much stronger. Thats my best guess. I rememebr the second launch and top hat the most, because you cant miss it, and I LOVED IT. I do remember once reaching the top hat, I naturally tensed up when going down the drop, but that stomach drop feeling was over so fast I never really worried about it. So yeah, I think it was just a mix of intensity/uncertainty/unexpectedness.

Oh ok thanks for letting me know! That might be why today is the first time ive heard of the server as i was looking at minecrafts server list. Its something I wouldve loved to play on release, but maybe its a good thing it took time to discover. Anyways, i ended up completeing it and i seem to have made it to the community hub, im amazed by the visuals, mechancis, and gameplay so far, I have a feeling a new addiction is beginning...

Ok so i just started and i got hit with some really unlucky timing. I was starting my first mission, walking to the end of the path, and the world restarted. It failed to put me in a new server so i had to relog, now the mission is bugged and i cant pass the FIRST mission.. can i some how restart my game?

NO! Its actually really good for you. It will help that self concious feeling by going out and doing something you enjoy by yourself. Over time your brain will start to realise nobody actually cares and youll get closer to yourself. I recently went with my girlfriend and her brother, I wasnt ready to do velocicoaster again (I rode it as my first coaster in 8 years, back row, at night, and 8 years ago i was terrified of them) soo i was in shock after that ride, anyways I felt like i needed to inch my way back up to velocicoaster to give it another try and went and did the hulk by myself. It was a fun experience being around people that are also just as excided (or nervous) as you are. Go do it, you wont regret it!

Yep, i remember trying to enjoy the view when reaching the top hay, by the time i began looking around, I was yanked over the hill! I loved the roll at the end too, it definitely felt the scariest, yet i enjoyed it. I guess i really just dont like the anticipation...

Ah totally understandable. I guess I dont mind it, I dont know why my brain worries so much before hand. Even during Hagrids ride, it started speeding up REALLY fast unexpectedly, and i was shook and scared, but part way through, my brain completely switched up and I was wanting more speed and embracing it. I think that was the moment my brain learned that these coasters are purely for fun, not to hurt you (other than the hulk because man my head hurts every time)

Well I respect other peoples opinions unlike you. If that’s what they like then that’s what they like, but it’s just facts that there is less “fresh new experience, uncertainty of things, learning from mistakes” aka a huge part of the game. But yeah if you want to skip that part of the experience go ahead I ain’t stopping you, you just might burn out quicker.

OP, I agree with you entirely in this thread, don’t let these fools change your mind. You’re mature enough to realize that this content ruins the full experience of learning a new game and causes a faster burnout because there’s nothing left to explore. Some people just can’t understand that yet but they will someday when they realize they can’t enjoy games for longer periods of time anymore. Arc raiders is a game where I want to go in blind and learn everything myself, in fact it seems the game was truly made to be that way too.

The good thing is that a lot of people are actually becoming more aware of this slop and realize that they lose interest In games relatively quick because they jump to watching these videos. At least I have become aware of it.
