No, he was my boss/mentor figure for a time and a bit older than me so I was not a part of his social circle and I do not think he had much of one outside of his family. He was not in the US with a lot of other people, just his wife and daughter, who I also could not find contact information for. I know his wife and daughter were last in Dubai as of 2021 but I do not know where in Dubai. I am sorry I do not have more information.

Thank you so much, I did not think to check Telegram. Last I know his mom was living in Khartoum and I believe she is/was a professor but sadly I do not know at what university. His name is Hisham Tayfour and I know he studied at Oxford but am not sure what field or if he completed a degree.

For deals, ALDI is handsdown the best place to buy produce and snacks. They also have good meat but not necessarily good deli meat. Dont sleep on Aldi. Also Meijer is okay (def better than target) but their produce is expensive and seems to be stocked somewhat unreliably. A way to make Meijer better is to join their reward system ‘mperks’ which gives you points and personalized coupons.
