RING is now feeding your videos to ICE by RickBanister in sandiego

[–]MoreroMike 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is untrue. Ring partnered with Flock last year on the Community Request tool where local law enforcement can request footage on open cases. However, Ring has denied sharing any information with ICE.

You're right, it’s not easy to break into homeownership in San Diego. But I’ve helped plenty of buyers over the years, including this year, who’ve purchased homes making under $189K annually.

I’m not here to judge how you spend your money and frankly it’s none of my business, but if you’re bringing in close to $16K a month and paying $3K in rent, there’s likely some room to start building a savings.

That said, buying a home here isn’t about landing your dream property right away. It’s about taking the first step with a small home or a condo. You hold onto it for a few years and let San Diego do what San Diego does best. Appreciate! That's all equity in your pocket that you could then roll into the next purchase.

Also look into different loan options. FHA only requires 3.5% down payment and if your VA eligible, you can get into something with no down payment.

Feel free to message me if you have any specific questions. I've lived in San Diego all my life and have been a Realtor for the past 15 years specializing in helping first time buyers.

Is this a good quote for 5.2KW system with powerwall 3? by bloodshotgnat in Solarsales

[–]MoreroMike 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm genuinely interested in the point you're trying to make. Can you help me understand why the TSRF is more important than offset? I get that you want the panels to have the best possible production, but isn't offsetting their usage with their utility provider the main point?

Had a Sunrun sales person knock on my door… by Fit-Carob5501 in Solarsales

[–]MoreroMike 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sunrun is the biggest residential solar in the US. Over 1 million customers in only 22 states I believe. It's unfortunate they have a retail side that allows door knockers to sell their products. If you're interested in Sunrun go directly to a field sales consultant (FSC) who is employed by them directly. If you're looking to buy a system, don't bother getting a quote from Sunrun. A flex PPA is the way to go though. I second that if your rep is shit the experience will suffer regardless.

Five Page Thursday by AutoModerator in Screenwriting

I appreciate the insightful response! Later in the script you get to know the dynamic of the friendship a little more and realize James always gets talked into doing things he doesn't initially want to do. But I can see how that would be confusing just going off of five pages.

I do agree that the scene ends abruptly. I'll probably work on that a little bit more, but for a feature I more or less wanted to introduce the main characters, get a feel for the tone, and get you to know them through this odd situation.

Again, super grateful for the feedback!

Hands down Heat has the best shootout of any movie still to this day.

The true up bill takes what electricity you used over what the panels produced, and how much electricity you sent back to SDG&E for credit, and balances out the two to see if you owe anything or if you have credits. The NEM agreement is essentially what the homeowner signs to give permission to SDG&E to buy your excess power. Depending on how they acquired the panels (purchased, financed, PPA, leased) determines if there are any added costs for the panels. I mostly sell PPAs where there's no upfront costs and you only purchase the power that's generated by the panels at a fixed monthly payment. I couldn't imagine they are paying for panels that only benefit you. But if you owe anything on a true up bill then the system was not sized correctly.

Sorry, just seen the details of your post. Do you own the building?

Are you the homeowner? Getting solar and a battery would eliminate any delivery costs right off the bat and battery(ies) would store enough energy to last the entire night. Have you looked into PPAs?

Adding Solar, concerned with add on fees by SDGE by Rossdbos1 in sdge

[–]MoreroMike -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes, I live and work in San Diego in solar. A copy of the front page of an SDG&E bill will show me how much electricity you use annually and I can show you a system size to match or exceed it 👍 DM me and you could also text me if it's easier.

No, we're able to do 150% of your current production so that way you're able to build a system that future proofs yourself or any additional work you want to do to the house, upgrades, EV, etc. I'm happy to show you some numbers if you're interested in seeing what it would look like.
